Super Armor Issue

I'm trying to put super armor into a character, the super armor works fine, accept for one thing, my character gets stuck into a loop every time he does a normal, special or hyper attack...i tried looking at other responses but didn't really understand what to do.

Don't know how you've done it, regardless of anything the super armour state should end. If you're stuck in a loop either you're not going back to state 0

Or you have not defined common1.cns in your .def file

stcommon = common1.cns
Should always be there. Even if you do your own it should still be there, never remove this line. Yeah, some people do, but it's a waste of time and organisationally terrible.

Well more than likely its exactly what cyanide said. You have to add a trigger all prevstateno to all attacking animaions. That equals your super armor state. That's if you did it that way.

so do i put the "trigger all prevstateno"..in the hitdefs?

More than likely in the anim. In most cases seperating it from statedef. Like having it as change anim instead in most cases.

Superarmour takes far more effort than JUST that.

All states must use changeanim rather than anim = value

All states cannot use any ongoing triggers for hitdefs, they must not only be specific points in time, they can't activate again if they've already hit. All things happening at the start of the states should only happen once.

You have more work ahead of you that needs to be done. All the code you have does is bounce your character into a super armour state, unless you do ALL of the backend, things will break.
