Bowser did badly need a running animation change. It made no f**k*** sense.

Okay, yeah. But as a bowser main it grew on me. on the plus side I like his new model. I like the way his hair looks.

Also, what, you gonna tell me bowser desperately needed a stance change or that it looks better then his previous one?
No, I just find it weird to throw a fit about something as minor as a slightly different idle

My main beef with it, despite already being over it, is that this takes devolpment time away from characters that could've been added into the game that people actually want. Even Sakurai Admitted in the reveal trailer, NO ONE wanted to play as her.
Technically people DID want a female trainer ... just not this one (a bit too obscure much?)

But anyway, there's nothing ungodly awful about making an out of the box character work in a fighting game. Phoenix Wright isn't a fighter yet he turned out to be a unique and fun character in (U)MvC3, same goes for Game and Watch in Melee and Brawl.

Not all fighting games (or games in general) have to be realistic, gritty, or all that. Nothing wrong with a little randomness and zaniness. And this announcement is certainly random. It's what makes Smash Bros so different from most fighting games (because honestly before Smash came out, who imagine Mario to be a good fisticuffs fighter)

Okay, yeah, but to be fair I was exaggerating. It's just that I don't understand why they did it and it doesn't look as good as his previous stance and Forward Smash, (IMO) It makes me upset when they change established things like that. You don't see them messing with anyone else's stance for no reason.

I think they're trying to make him more like the Bowser in the Mario games (which I don't mind)

All that matters to me is if he still plays good.

Exactly that. They're updating his moveset just as they've done with some characters in the series, like Link being more like his Twilight Princess counterpart in Brawl, to Mario having FLUDD instead of the spin attack. There's bound to be changes in movesets, like Bowser being more akin to recent Mario games, also which is why his stance is changed; it's almost the same as his appearance and being playable more recently in the Mario and Luigi series.

I actually wouldn't be surprised to see them taking reference from Bowser's Inside Story for attacks (like his deadly strong punches)

except bowser doesn't stand up that straight in any game I recall, and he's never done a drop kick before.

and yeah, but both the gale boomerang and the fludd did not help those characters and in fact, became unnecessary and bad nerfs.

We all know she's just gonna be another character on the roster that no one plays as, just like M.O.D.O.K. Unless it turns out she's top tier.

Hey man! There have been some really good M.O.D.O.K. players lately.

It only hit on the way forward, and didn't drag you far enough to be useful. the boomerang in melee and the original actually did damage on the way back, which was a far bigger benefit then the mediocre suction than the gale boomerang provided. I don't play as link in brawl, but I did in the original and it was way better.

I also have a friend who plays link and he HATES the gale boomerang. it's really useless.

Hey man! There have been some really good M.O.D.O.K. players lately.

Well you knew what I mean.Sure there are fans on him and there are good players as him, but the general player base doesn't want to play as him.

The Roster in a fighting game should make you want to play that game more or be a selling point. I mean, there's a reason so many people were excited to see megaman and not as many were excited to see wii fit trainer. Megaman and even villager are characters people want to see or pick up the game to play as. Sure, people will test her out like I played as M.O.D.O.K. when I got marvel just to see how he played, but after that initial test, I didn't play as him again because being a giant head just isn't very cool or fun.

Wii Fit Trainer made me want the game more, even though I hadn't thought of her as a possible inclusion before.

So don't mind me, I'll just be over here, being an antithesis.

Problem is, when was there a good marvel game as a Nintendo only title. Weren't really a lot of good comic book related games till recently. Batman would probably make more sense to be on it because of how popular his nes game was.

Mega Man is back and Capcom is okay with this? The Wii Fit trainer is in? I am officially sold for this one. The only thing missing is Waluigi, Young Zelda, and Princess Daisy and it will be perfect.

On another note, Why isn't there a topic for the Nintendo 3DS version of Super Smash Bros.?

Speaking of the 3DS, don't you guys find it weird how Nintendo is trying somehow to bridge the gap between the Wii U and the 3DS? It's as if they expect people to buy both the same game for each system.  I think that seems weird. Though I think they tried the same with the Gamecube and Gameboy Advance. So it's not that new. *shrugs*

Why hate already on Wii Fit Trainer? Yes I was pissed at her announcment, but the character grew on me already, and I will welcomme her with an open sin, because she might be good, and she could be bad, but we don't know that yet (as far as the video goes, she does look pretty fun and interessting)

But honestly there is almost no need in more predictions because after Sakurai Announced Wii Fit Trainer, NO ONE can predict the next outcome.  Sakurai you troll  ;D

But honestly I'm sold for this game (Wii U version), but for me what I want from this point of is:

King K.Rool, a new F-Zero Rep (Samurai Goroh), Little Mac and Takamaru.
For many years, Mugen has been a passion to the Ninja, and still today it is. From 09' n' til this day ~

Keep fighting, keep struggling, keep creating, and have fun ~
