Killer Instinct Returns

Killer Instinct is back! For those who were able to play the game during the 90's this game was really cool. Unfortunately it's only for xbox one at this time.
Hopefully they will make it available for the 360 later. It actually looks pretty cool. It has the bombastic, in your face kind of feel that the original had.

I've been watching E3 live on IGN today and when this trailer came up I was really surprised. It was cool, the second that announcer's voice spoke, I almost immediately knew it was KI. This trailer is perfect IMO. It has that 90's flare you would expect from a KI game.

It's a good thing they haven't forgot about ol' Killer Instict, but since it's a 2013, the graphics are like 2008-ish.

i told dudes long before it was coming. it will never be a sony game. Microsoft had its claws in it since the rumors started in like 07-08

With being a release near the Xbox One's release, the graphics usually don't look that great, cause the developers are still getting used to how the new console works.
The character models do look a little cartoony, but that's part of the Killer Instinct brand. The original 2 games the characters looked like they were claymation, a very common look for RARE's games.
I'm sure the graphics will look better at it's release. The fact that they only showed 3 character shows us the game is still in development.

I wonder what the roster will be? Will they take all the previous characters or introduce a bunch of new ones? What would you guys prefer?

I agree, I need this on the 360. Hey, it could happen. Rayman Legends was to be a Wii U exclusive, but then they changed their minds. Depends on if RARE or whoever is developing this game thinks they will make more money with it being an exclusive or not.

true that. i think tho 360 NEEDS more exclusives and if this was to come on 360...would raise the bar a bit for themselves in having exclusive titles.  They need to make that hapen...get more money with the system they have now instead of waiting around to see who would buy the new one and purchase the game cause... everyone these days do not have that much money to just toss out on as new system this pricey when can still port over and do well on 360 with its already user base.

It's great to see they're bringing this franchise back, was the first game I ever bought. My favorite part was the music and it seems like they're keeping it for this game with remakes. I'm loving that but it's gonna take a hell of a lot more to get me interested in getting a system that still seems like garbage up to this point.

I watched the majority, they focused mostly all on games. There's Metal Gear Solid 5, Assassin's Creed 4, Halo (5? I think) and numerous more games. So there will be plenty of games coming out. I feel they partially redeemed themselves.
Comes out November for $500 and I'm assuming still requiring internet connection and what not.

Game looks great. BUUUUTTTT Looks a lot like Super Street Fighter 4. I like that they are keeping the same announcer and the cobo system seems to be the same also (couldnt see the game play long enough to tell)

Other then that I wasnt to inmpressed by what Micrsoft had. Yeah they have some cool games coming there. My son really liked Project Spark (he's an Little Big Planet Buff). But there are a lot of FPS's coming again.

I'm a Sony fan by but own both PS3 and 360, I almost always play my PS3 though.

Here's a better look at the gameplay! Looks sweeeeet! It does sort of look like SF4, but you know, that works well for Killer Instinct, IMO. I'm sure they'll have something really cool to set it apart from the rest.

As long as Tusk, Orchid and Maya are brought back for this.. I'm all for it.   I'm very excited to FINALLY see a new KI in the works.

So, will you have to pay for the game and then for the entire roster? Or is this a somewhat cryptic way of saying a good portion of the game will be in a demo format with Jago only playable and then be fully playable once you pay?
