Warner Bros. announced today that Mortal Kombat (2011) "Komplete Edition" is coming to PC this Summer. The digital version will be released July 3rd, followed by the retail version on August 2nd (Europe) and August 6th (North America). MK9 Komplete Edition contains all 4 DLC characters, along with klassic costumes & fatalities.

Capcom released a live action trailer of Remember Me, which provides a brief background of the story. The game will be available in North America on June 4.



The recently released "Volume 2" of Fumishobo's light novel adaptation of the Blazblue franchise features a wraparound cover jacket, which happens to confirm that Blazblue will be adapted into an anime series. The TV anime series is called "BLAZBLUE Alter Memory," and will debut in Japan in autumn 2013.



The official SNK Playmore website was updated with some interesting job openings, which "hint" at the eventual release of new 3D King of Fighters and Samurai Shodown games. It's speculated that SNK put out a call for CG artists, designers, and programmers for new 3D versions of their flagship titles.

Capcom said they will bring a "big surprise" to E3 2013, besides that Capcom will be showing Duck Tales Remastered, Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara, Lost Planet 3, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destines at E3.

Tecmo Koei announced a free-to-play version of its next fighter, called Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate: Core Fighters, which includes 4 playable characters: Ryu Hayabusa, Hayate, Kasumi, and Ayane; and all the stages. Tutorial and Training modes will be in the game, other features will be offered as in-game purchases. Additional characters will be $4, and Story Mode is $15. The company is in talks with Microsoft for a possible 360 version of Core Fighters.

 Bandai Namco announced Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z, a team melee action game which will be heading to PS3, Xbox 360 and PS Vita. In the game 2 or more characters will battle in the arena, making it a melee action game instead of versus fighting. There will be multiplayer play modes, including 4 player co-operative, 8 player battle royale, and online multiplayer.

 Bandai Namco announced Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers for PS3, a new 3D fighting game based on the Saint Seiya series, featuring characters from Zodiac Knights, Elysion Chapter and Omega. Some of the confirmed characters include Kouga, Seiya, Shiryu, Kanon, Tenma, and Rhadamanthys. Saint Seiya: Brave Solider will be released in Japan this fall.

 Bandai Namco revealed two more characters in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle for PS3, they are Dio Brando, the villain from Phantom Blood and Enrico Pucci, the main antagonist from Part 6.

Phantom Blood Dio? Well, I can see him playing completely different that Stardust Crusader Dio, but I expect that to be a costume, not a full on character.
