Why not allow use of 360 games and controllers?

I think the difference we're seeing between PS4 and XBone is PS4 seems to be focused on being a next gen console and try to have the best hardware. XBone seems to be doing something similar as Nintendo, which is advertising an "experience", which most gamers just want better graphics, faster load times, better online gameplay experience. Instead XBone wants to give us stuff like watching TV, Windows 8 style interface, running apps like twitch, the Kinect recognizing who has the controller, blood flow and heart beat, bla bla bla. No one asked for this. I'm not saying I won't buy one eventually. It will be interesting to see if the Xbox "experience" compensates for the few glaring negatives.

OMG they almost got that list filled up..... These guys are freakin crazy.... Why would u want all those restrictions on your console... that is just crazy.... Its awesome they took all of that away

i got the easiest answer to that question bro. ITS ALL PS Fans users only signing it...kill the competition!!   but 

those restrictions made no sense at all and especially in a competitive market way. they would sell far less consoles if they kept those. The only way to stay in the game is to keep up the pace and offer more user ability not take stuff away that made them where they are with their consumers. Those restrictions... would doom them ....period.

I think the petition is by legit XBox fans. There is a large group that want all those digital features back. I mean, lending games to your friends digitally was pretty awesome and personally I don;t buy game disks any more, I wait for the game on demand.

Lending games to your friends digitally works well when you are friends with people you meet online, friends that live nowhere in a vicinity that you can give it to them by hand on disk and those such. Thats a good benefit.  But to make it the mandatory thing and dish away with being able to lend to a friend next door by disk who doesnt have online is not cool at all. Everyone doesnt have xbox live and sometimes doesnt have it at periods of time.  Plus no disk means you require enough space to house all your games that are digital only.  I hate waiting an hour to 3 hours to DL a game.

going total digital to me seems suspect and easy access to peer into where and who your giving and sharing your personal bought game to. Once i buy..its mine. No need to track who i want to share or even give it to have or use. I favor a lot of the setup they have now with 360.  It works out a bit more commercially and economically.I dont like those restrictions cause they demote you the consumer from using your bought game the way you seem fit to use it and force you to do what they want you to do with what you bought. If they reinstall those restrictions..i am gonna call them XBOX CIA.

i recently bared witness to one of my friends kids going apenuts on the headset he bought for him to use and let his son borrow it and we heard all this shouting coming from his sons room...yeah he was going ham on someone and they mom. we was just like...

it could be turned all the way off before but now it doesn't even have to be connected so why the heck are they still asking $500 for the xbox one?  Come on microsoft give us a bundle without it and drop that price
