One step closer to the update: Black Knight (playable) finished.

This was a character I always wanted to bring to the game, but since the beginning a lot has happened, like the death of the artist who was drawing him, delays, lack of images, etc.

After some time (a few years actually), I finally managed to come up with a set of ideas that would make him different, both in relation to other games where he appears, and to the rest of the characters in this game.

I had an accident in my left hand so I can't work on my stuff for a while
But in addition to being a good friend for a long time, Jhfer is a super creative guy who has a lot to know about Marvel. And he did the basics of one more playable character for Avengers United Battle Force: Photon/Spectrum.






He likes to do all the basic work with images, palettes, suggesting moves and coding the foundation of the char for, when I have time, I can finish the coding and polishing it.

Slowing returning to this project

Playing as Hercules on Endurance mode - an  extra mode where you fight different bosses with just one life. If you die, it's game over.

New scenario and new boss for Endurance mode: Yelena Belova, the "Dark Black Widow". I (Hercules) took the opportunity to play with my son (Colossus) the 3 stages of this mode.

This stage has something new: Using the amazing stage control features that OpenBOR provides, the stage moves randomly in several directions, including controlling the "rock" setting (which makes the floor shake, in different styles ).

I still need to tweak some things, like the size of the Mockingbird and the groups of enemies - it's working normally for 1 player, but not for 2 players, which makes mixing different types of enemies.

The game should be updated this year

I imagine they can be; Starhawk, Yondu, Vance Astro and not sure but maybe Aleta Ongord? A mix of original and 80's reboot Guardians of the Galaxy?

I can't wait to code Aleta - she is basically a Green Lantern.

Thor is one of my favorites too - and the latest version is fantastic, as is Emma Frost.

Preview of a new mechanic for the character Vision, which changes his gameplay a lot: Auto Dodge.

When suffering an attack, there is a possibility for Vision to do an automatic dodge, where he is invulnerable for a short period of time. However, this mechanic only works if he is on the ground, not jumping.

I got this idea while playing Marvel Strike Force (where he does this move) and I thought it would be interesting to bring that into the game, since he uses it a lot in the comics as well.
