maybe u can trade the special the captain america with buck uniform to something with gun
and maybe u can use a pallate to war machine to make him a Iron Patriot and the special trade the missile with a laser
This would require too much work, its not on my plans for now.

indeed, it gives a very nostalgic feeling!

Jhfer made a great work.
You can see the original palette (I was never a fan of it) and the smartpal and all costumes


About the game, I am getting close of the next release. But I got an awesome idea which will give me some work, so I will push the release date a bit further. But it worths the trouble :)

By the way, a character that I hate but some people like will be on the game, as NPC


Some more detailed news:

- Finally I finished the boring part of the project: I checked every enemy in the game, to see if all the animations were correct, attacks, colors, etc.

- I revised values ​​of life, attack, defense to multiple enemies.

- All bosses can now escape when they are grabbed.

(I am aware of the misaligned flash)

- I had some ideas ideas for the new truck stage and they are working pretty good. But I won't spoil the surprises :)

- Bodyguard enemy was removed to be replaced by Luke Cage-in-a-Cage-inception

- Started to code the Dreadnought, in their original design, to act as Madam Masque bodyguards.


- In the Maggia' ship third level (the one in the darkness), I am making some tests to make some attacks to light up the scene, like Thor's specials.

Some more progress with the truck stage:

- There are new flying enemies, trying to hit you
- An icon, showing at right, will warn you about "things" that are coming to hit you, kinda like in Shinobi III water stage


And other cool things that I can't show :)

Btw, Ens23 made some great edit for Viper. The base is kinda...obvious :)

- Now if you pick Thor with palettes 5-6 (Thor Clones), both freespecial are different


- I managed to code a new intro for all chars, which makes me to have different intros per stage. Its pretty cool in action:)

And the poor NPC gets shoot, sadly :(

Hey guys here is a small preview of the custom intros :)

And there is a cool zoom jump too.

Some time ago, I was thinking in how to make a cool Avenger Power for Black Knight but nothing crossed my mind outside using his horse (which will be present but for other thing) until I got the idea of calling Merlin to help him.

So, I made an edit of him. The base is pretty obvious :)


The idea is to make him fighting as an NPC, for a short time, but invencible (astral projection), where he will use many magic attacks.

Its on my plans to do an item (the Avengers ID Card) where you will be able to call a random helper.
Some of the names includes: Firestar, Merlin, Cloak, Doorman, Storm and even any of the playable chars (sure, the code will check if the helper in question is not in play)

Some more news:

- Jhfer edited Warmachine with his shoulder cannon, so he looks more unique


- Now in the truck stage (a transitory stage to Hydra base) you start inside the truck and the lid is removed once the intro is finished


- New boss (not yet coded): Anaconda


PS: Can't anybody guess who is the npc in the middle?

Yes, Cloak will damage all enemies on the screen.
But the player can't choose which helper he will use - he gots a random one.

Some will attack one enemy, some will attack in line formation, some will do area damage, some will attack everyone, some will heall you...

She will have 6 different types of weapons, each one works in a different way, and each one costs different ammount of ammo

Quick update:
I've fixed something which bothers me in every game (well, in comics too) where Wolverine is - his claw damage.
For me, makes no sense that someone with an Adamantium claw makes the same damage of someone who is punching the enemy.

So, I've added a rule for it:

- Full Armor enemies, like robots (Golem, for example): normal damage
- Semi Armor enemies, like Soldier and Gunner: 10% more damage
- No Armor enemies (with normal cloths or bare skin): 25% more damage
I can't go too far away here because If we are going to be prcise...Wolverine should be able to kill a normal enemie with just one stab. The same for Hulk, etc. And the game would be ruined :)

I would like to add blood too, because come on...he is cutting the enemies! But I don't know.

What do you guys think?
