Some progress:

• Changed Hulk's projectile - Now it has a longer delay on the first frame, the projectile is not fullscreen anymore, does just a little damage (its intended to just blast away the enemies) and have a longer recovery time

• Fixed a weird bug which causes Hulk to attack his own teammates.

• Still working on balance Hulk, he is a tad overpowered now.

• Vision now have a flight move (doesn't cost mp like Ironman or Warmachine). Fixed a lot of color errors on his sprites. Runattack its still a wip (I want him to stun the enemy, but my tests says that its a bit too cheap)

• Started to give Tiger Shark more moves (he can jump from the top area too, not only from the bottom).

• New NPC on the game: Mocking Bird

What do you think of using sprites iron man and create the rescue?
Serious wonderful to play with it or you-there power in the game.  :)

it would be cool if tiger shark crashed through the dock when he eventually dies

hi guys, I run into a problem while searching for a base to She-Hulk: Beast's size.

According the the Wikia, he is 5'11" (180cm), while Iron Man is 6'6" (198cm) and Hulk (The Professor) is 7'6" (228cm).
But, on this project, Beast is bigger than Iron Man or Thor (6'6").



I won't make Doom re-edit all the char, so I thin I will downscale it by code.

Yeah, I think you guys are right.

The original game have weird sizes too. Hawkeye (6'3" - 190cm) is way taller than Captain America (6'2" - 188cm). And Juggernaut is just a bit taller when, in fact, he is 9' 5" (287cm).

Yeah man, keep it as it is. Otherwise scaling is a option like you said but, İ prefer a fair and well balanced look. İt's all about designs and graphics really. A little bit of your own twists in size isn't a bad thing. Especially when you are a coder for so many years wich has experience.

- Finally I found resources to make the second stage, where you fight the Maggia crime syndicate. Its a stage full of thugs and gangsters. The sub boss is a big gangster, and the boss is Madame Masque with help of Dreadnoughts.

(its a mock-up, hence the lack of shadows)

- 5 new chars will join the team (but I think they won't be avaliable on the beta):

Yes and no. The game, as the title says, its a united force against the evil guys. Avengers leads it, but any char from any other team can appear.

Talking about Heights, I will use (on our game) the sentinels and Master Mold on its original size


Sentinels are 20' (609cm) and Master Mold is 30' (914cm) tall.

For sure, there will be sentinels on different sizes, but never as tall as the player, they will be always bigger

oh yes! Its a built-in code from the engine:

rock {int}

~Optional.
0 means nothing.
1 means the level floats up and down slightly.
2 will cause the stage to remain steady for a second or so, then quickly shake twice. Should resemble the steady rocking on a train ride.
3 will cause the stage to shake with a constant, steady rumbling, with occasional 'hiccups'. This one looks like what you might feel if you were riding in a moving van or on top of a moving eighteen wheeler.

So, the ship moves up and down, while the bg moves to the left and the water have a nice parallax effect on it :)

Oh, this engine has its own mysteries... to reveal. It is too tempting to yield to the desire to explore it. So, Avengers are really popular here, I see. I thinks, the Sentinels must be gigantic, offscreen and attack the player off the screen. Or make the canvas span a bigger array of the render target, if it is possible here to make a player seem really small and a sentinel be seen fully.

I THINK yes, since I can control the overall zoom of everything (check my videos and you will see it in action on the super moves).

OpenBOR can even render a small screen which mimics everything which is going on the screen.

oh yeah :) There are a lot of cool things there, like attack proprieties (burn, freeze, shock, poison - with damage over time, seal, steal), Mode-7 for stages, and etc.

There will be an exclusive stage for Spiderman world, where you will unlock Spiderman and Black Cat as playables.
About Carnage, I need to think about it. Because there are some Carnage sprites already (from the games) and I plan to use The Spider (Alternate world's Spider Man with Carnage symbiont)
