Very very loyal testers. i couldnt ask for a better team. They tell me whats cool and whats not straight up and
sabaki is a true Gem showing me the ropes on how to spot the bugs on the screen and keep it clean. THANK YOU TEAM!!!

Details of the character edit:

I started this to be a character thats very technical on the ground and MVC in the air. That was my whole goal since V1 but it was a rough ride getting it right so after starting all over again a 3rd time very slowly i got it right with a damn good beta tester lead. Great advise from other cool creators and a damn good talent to learn fast. This character is the result of that. its nothing like the terrys you may have downloaded so dont think it. hes full of some cool surprises.

A LOT OF CUSTOM EDITS i have done on my own. I taught myself how to sprite. thanks to spidermew's old gimp tips. so you will see slew of animations ive produced either free hand or slight edits. parries (standing). misc movements. gestures (like the finger pointing) charge ups etc. And a major EX power tackle move done originally by me. You wont see this material in no other terry.

Gameplay:

Im oldschool so i went with the days of AOF, KOF, SF3 & CVS days. The moveset of super moves are like that. not simplified like MVC style material more where its one motion and two buttons. Just READ the movelist and take it from there. Theres one hidden super also but ill let you have the fun of finding that. Dont expect traditional console accuracy either. im not into that. This is mugen and i use my imagination a lot. Why does he have so many Moves? well for one THEY ARE ALL DIFFERENT. And most importantly i am a fan of the character and i always wanted all his iconic moves and supers in one version of terry including the epic ones seen in the Animes. so thats the whole theme of this terry i created.

AI combat:

A pretty good challenge. i toned him down over time to be more paced than spazzy. ive gotten a bit better at that. At one point i was trying to be in competition with Hiram Yagami's Nightmare geese but then an adviser of mines said "well you dont want to make UN beatable. A challenge yes but not a nightmare to face"...so with that i agreed and all i can say is hes a force to reckoned with if you put em in watch mode. But a decent challenge when you fight him. if you can beat em,,,well you get a Crom cookie baked by lando himself sent by fed ex lol

Only characters like that. I hate a horrible AI coded chars. sorry i just dont like it. aggressive AI is my thing.

To everyone that supported since when i first started with V1 and struggled hard to get better. Read the Read me credits in Terry to see all the shout outs and credits given to the individuals worthy of a shout.

Last words:

I did this character for the fun of it. I love fighting games. im a huge fan of Terry bogard and i wanted folks who were learning to create to be inspired to learn mugen creating and come up with something cool and different. I started off by watching Uroz videos and BC (bovery) vids to create characters using fighter factory and use source material to bring my character to life. I f*cked up a lot of times but i finally got it right.

There wont be another terry bogard character by me ever. its been too long and its out of my system now. im already working on my Ryo version and all that ive learned making this Terry version i will apply to him and then some as far as decent coding goes and jazzy new ways using them.

Well feel free to share your thoughts. its amusing to read preference opinions. But im more into learning how to code things better. i have my own taste in things so please ill appreciate mature critique that i can use for the next project that i didnt do in this one.

Demonkai dude I am so proud of you man.... You finally got this dude finished and released.... So glad you finally woke Mr. Terry Bogard up again lol. Anyway I'm gonna giv him a try and see whats up with him dude.

Congratulations bro! Terry is yet again set out into the wild so everyone can enjoy! From the presentation, edits, FX, down to the moves, it's easy to see how much love & work went into this character.

Although I wasn't on from V1, I can assure everyone that the 2 years seeing not only the changes this character went through, but the growth of Demonk@i as a creator. Along with numerous hours of testing each update for Terry, Demonk@i hit me up with numerous questions regarding coding, whether it be on bugs or issues that were mentioned from testing or just points that came up from him during coding.  Instead of just giving him the answers, I'd generally give him a hint or example to help him figure out which direction to go towards. In the end, Demonk@i's understanding of coding became so good, that he'd resolve issues on his own, as well as figure out his own tricks, which you'll see when you all give Terry a play.

I know he's caught some slack recently regarding his creative choices for his Terry. Yes, 15+ supers are abit daunting (I won't lie, it's a task trying to pull each one off on a regular basis),  but this is what Demonk@i envisioned for his version of Terry, so judge more on how he pulled it off instead of just how many there are. Also, for those who think that Demonk@i went the easy route and coded over someone else's Terry like Vyn's or Warusaki's, or even swiped codes & copy-pasted to pull off what he did, you are greatly mistaken. Demonk@i went the long route and coded everything for his character from scratch (more than on one occasion), getting a lot of advice and guidance from other creators until he's able to stand on his own 2 feet. 3 years in the making. I can vouch for this.

Again, congrats Demonk@i for the cool & hype character called Awakened Terry  =D>. Keep up the fine work, and looking forward to helping in any other way for your next wips  ::salute::

Two Things

1) I admire your story man of your love for Terry Bogard and also the hard work you put into the character. And the fact you even learn to code it from scartch is just an amazing feat in itself man. That is awesome and i love reading stuff like this. I hope one day i will inspire myself to try working on a character i love like this and do the same as you.

2) Downloading the character has not been successful at all. It keeps saying it was deleted or cannot access the character.

it has been a pleasure being a gameplay tester for you and your crazy and creative character. I love the hard work you put into him and he is a blast to play with and even more testing to go against. Fun all round pulling off all the moves he has in his movelist.  You are a great friend man and besty online and offline for many years and inspire me as well as Sabaki, Cyanide, Infinite and R@ce, humble and respectfully i  ^:)^ to you all lol)   to get myself to a level you guys have achieved . You already know bruh i got your back and anything you ever need me to help with, and test , Crom bro Lando is there sun!

Yes he has..all his iconic supers from past games and even the animes....Im a big Terry bogard fan ;)

this video is old and the move was updated better but you can see him do it here at clip time 1:17


That move you can only do when your health is low and you are at level 4. restrictions are like that because it packs a series punch

His level 1s do as much damage as his level 3s....
Kick launcher doesn't let the opponent recover so you can juggle him with it until he runs out of juggle points.


I probably won't say any more because this thing has left me speechless and not in a good way.

He switched the d/l over to 4shared.
About that juggle kick, I got that fixed. I simply changed the kick to where it cannot hit downed opponents by removing F from the hitflag.

Anyway...silence just grips my mind when it comes to this Terry.
Sorry, guys, I'm just going to respond to bugs and offer solutions to them. I'm just speechless about this guy. @-)

Okay, get serious!  I love this interpretation of Terry.  Artistically, he is outstanding.  The idea behind his game play style is actually quite good as well.  Terry's custom animations are done well, and my hat is off for the losing animation towards Geese.  Observations are below.

-His launch kick can by itself for up to 7 times for 353 dmg.  It can also be used in tandem with other specials repeatedly such as rising tackle for more devastating effects which usually takes about a half a life bar or more from your opponent.

-His launch punch can be used indefinitely until the opponent is dead.  As with the kick, you can easily figure out how many of each special you can get away with before just going back to the punches until your opponent is dead.  Personally I think these moves should be limited to one hit each as far as juggle limitations are concerned and should not be able to chain with each other.  I would also consider lowering their damage if they are able to chain.

-//Rising Tackle//The hard version (Z) can chained with other moves up to 3 times before it hits its juggle limitations, but if you use this move by itself in a corner, it can chain indefinitely.  I can usually pull off 5 or 6 by buffering in the command while he is midair and executing just as he lands. 

-//Power Wave//The hard version has knockdown (I'm okay with that since it has a high velocity) but also hits grounded indefinitely.  I also found it funny that this one hits grounded but the EX version does not.  I would probably make it so that the EX version hits grounded and not the hard version.  At least then you are paying for the ability.

-//Blaze and Daze, Wolf Speed, Power Charge Tackle, KoF XIII Critical Counters, Super Deadend Napalm//Just outstanding, I love these moves.

-//Power Kick+Air Power Kick//Could not get these to operate based on the command listed in the move list.

-//Savage Power Slam//This does too much damage in my opinion (240), especially when compared to other EX moves, and actually sets the opponent up for further juggling.

-//Super Burning Tackle//This one does almost as much damage blocked as it does when it connects.

-//All Hypers//I found a great disparity within the damage for all of the hypers.  It was obvious and commendable that you took the time to code out each hit and have it deal its own damage rather than cookie cut an even number at the first or last hit.  Unfortunately, the damage and usefulness of them are clearly prioritized even though I'm sure that wasn't the intent.  I'm a fan of these types of characters which combine their entire histories and add new things, but I would definitely consider adjusted the damage spread amongst these.

Overall, this character is a blast to play.  This is without a doubt the most enjoyable Terry I have every played in terms of overall design.  Despite what I believe are some setbacks, I do love the combo system and enjoy doing things Power Styling-bounce-Powerdunk-Power Geyser.  I also agree with your views on AI and appreciate your work in that arena.  Sometimes it can get spammy, but it's not too bad.  I truly hope that this character receives updates and future attention as it will clearly be one of my favorites!

didn't play the old KOF games but i did watch the animes and he was fav character in SNK vs Capcom so i am very impressed with him...

hands down best Terry out there!!
