Since this forum has a lot of Mega Man fans, I figured it'd be nice to see if anyone here had their own ideas for Robot Masters or Mavericks. I had a few (keep in mind I'm still working on them so some details may change)

ROBOT MASTERS
DarkWoman - Her powers are dark energy manipulation; she can shoot out serpent shaped energy projectiles and shoot out dark spheres around her (similar to the leaf shield). Her appearance is wearing a small black cloak with a black veil over her mouth and black cloth around her wrists. Her personality is very snarky, quick to poke fun at anyone.
- When Mega Man beats her, he gets the Shadow Shot; he shoots a serpent shaped energy projectile just like DarkWoman. When he fires, a small dark energy shield briefly envelops Rock (ala Powered Up FireMan).
HyenaMan - He has super sharp claws, which he uses to slash almost anything. He can also use them to climb walls and dig underground to perform a surprise uppercut attack. His appearance is a hyena head (a hyena's upper jaw on top of his head), red markings on his face, and fur along his arms. His personality is super insane, always cackling and ready for a fight.
- When Mega Man beats him, he gets the Beserker Barrage; He slashes forward going through enemies. As its name implies, its a throwback to one of Wolverine's specials in the Marvel vs Capcom games. It can also be used to reach a farther platform.
MuscleWoman - She has super strength; she can punch the ground so hard it sends shockwaves and can pick up a chunk of the ground to toss at Rock. Her appearance is very bulky, similar to the stereotypical German female body builder. She also behaves like one, insulting Rock by calling him a "weak, puny robot bug".
- When Mega Man beats her, he gets the Power Punch; he punches the ground, sending a shockwave to trip up the enemies.

MAVERICKS
Cyber Rex - A giant T Rex Maverick.
Aqua Siren - A female Maverick (yes, a female Maverick) with a "sonic shriek"

... yeah I spent more time fleshing out the Robot Masters than the Mavericks

I got an idea for a maverick:
Stealth Serpent. He's kinda like a maverick version of SnakeMan, even having something similar to Search Snake, but he also will be very stealthy...kinda like Solid Snake.

Grumble Coyote (Grotto Koyote in Japan): Was a Reploid to oversearch the caverns and study the earthquakes to predict them... but was stolen and reprogramed by Bowser for battle, his weapon is the Howl Earthquake.
Freeze Bigfoot (Freezo Sasquatch in Japan): This Maverick was created by Bowser to search the degrees and ice for a powerful machine, his weapon is the Glaciar Stomp.
Splash Dolphin (Splasher Dolphino in Japan): Was a Reploid to keep the aquatic animals being able to breed and raise the population, and also for study of marine plants... but was stolen and reprogramed by Bowser for battle, his weapon is the Bubble Echo.
Wind Condor (Wing Kondoro in Japan): This Maverick was created by Bowser to catch the wind and weather for a powerful machine, his weapon is the Grappling Spin.
Hotfire Boarhog (Hotburno Wildhog in Japan): This Maverick was created by Bowser to bring the burning magma and lava for a powerful machine, his weapon is the Magma Inferno.
Grass Dragonfly (Plant Dragofly in Japan): Was a Reploid to keep the forestation and population of plants and trees... but was stolen and reprogramed by Bowser for battle, his weapon is the Leaf Sting.
Thunderbolt Hedgehog (Thundervolt Porkupino in Japan): Was a Reploid to study the thunder in weathers and in other artifacts, surprisly he joins Bowser without being reprogramed (he was tired of his job) to help on a powerful machine, his weapon is the Lightning Spike.
Metallex Dracko (Metalix Dreko in Japan): Is found unactived in an unknown place by Bowser, he turns him on and reprograms him to search the powerful minerals for a powerful machine, his weapon is the Metal Boomerang.

I do like some of the head designs and backstories you have there Blizzard.

I will say it's weird that you have the idea of Mavericks working for Bowser. I didn't think anyone wanted a Mega Man X/Mario crossover

cool topic here. well decided top do a simple edit design and a lil backstory i figure as well.

Infinity Man ( aka Dynamo Man)


Many years after all the battles and issues with Dr. Wiley and his evil Robots , Dr Light saw megaman and his other version being and growing even more powerful with their upgrades. So he thought to himself he needed to have a ultimate robot that could take care of them if they went to the wrong side and as well combat the evil robots if they have proven to become far stronger than his own Megaman designs.  Thus in secret he spent much time of how to come up the ultimate robot to do all of everything that all the robots could do plus what his own Megaman could as well.. Thus was born in mind..Infinity Man.

As he began to create Infinity man he decided to choose his Megaman as the main blueprint to build from but not only added in his abilities to copy other robots powers upon touch but as well use any and all powers in combinations together. With his right hand he can also absorb any energy based projectile power and  send it right back but stronger than when it was attacked towards him with his right hand only.

without absorbing any Robot abilities his natural powers are:
 Enhanced level of robotic speed
Acrobatic robotic agility
Extra durability
Power shot
Strength level 5 ( if robots are ranged on level from 1-7)
Focus beam ( fired from forehead )
Can speak and understand all human languages
Dynamo Explosion  ( a energy explosion from his own body that blasts away opponants , but is only usable when his power intake level is maxed)
Infinite Buster ( uses all energy to fire a huge sphere Power Shot that causes major damage to opponant and area.


ehh thats what i got so far. i think i will do some more tweaking up on his design, i got some more ideas.

Flame Hyanard is the only good thing about MegaMan X7.
Seriously, MegaMan X7 sucks Mobile Balls (inb4 random Gundam reference).

Am I the only one that doesn't think X7 is the antichrist? I mean sure it wasn't great by a long shot, but I didn't think it was unbearably bad. Except for having to unlock X. That was pure crap.

Here's my maverick idea:
Beetle Knight - He may kinda look like dukemon, yet his cape is like a beetle,a head is like a stag beetle, More or less kinda monster hunter-ish styled armor..

Field - Forest type

Weapon Get X- Beetle lancer -Shoots a beetle with a lance in its head.
           zero- He gets a beetle Lance.. Z Abilities- Piercing wind stab-like?
          Axl - Lightning bullet - he shoots a lightning spheres..

Abilities - He uses a lance and shield,He blocks using shield, He uses his cape to reflect weapons, throw shield or lance ..like a boomerang, shoots lightning spheres out of his horn and chase its opponent,He shoots beetle lancer from ground and air..

Rage Mode (like in x8) - He charges at his opponent using his lance..afterwards when it became faster it became a raikousen-like attack..
he throw his shields cap.america style.. beetle lancer became much faster,
Lightning spheres can duplicate..

PS.i also enjoy the X7 since i was a kid(i dunno why everyone hates it )

Am I the only one that doesn't think X7 is the antichrist?...

Yes. Totally going 

A) The voice acting is crap: Seriously, they did a better job 4 years prior with X4. I'm not joking.

B) The gameplay is crap: The 3D levels did not work well. Can't blame them though, first run out with X gameplay forced by SONY but still bad.

C) The level design is crap: Again, the 3D levels are to blame, not that the 2D were that much better.

D) The Game engine itself is crap: Dash jump off a wall and you'll see what I mean. Plus Zero's attacks suffered from swinging 3D constantly. 2D was particularly hard with Zero for this reason.

E) The story is crap: The whole thing was just to introduce Axl into the series. Dumb plot was dumb, and Axl sucked as a character in X7. Thank the lord for X8 fixing that potential nightmare.

F) Having to either wait till the final levels or saving 64 reploids to unlock X is total crap: The game is called Megaman X7 Capcom, why am I not playing as X? Again, forcing Axl down my throat.

I've beating the game once, I've never looked back. The only good thing to come out of X7 was the music.

and since is the idea thread for you project I was wondering for a special guest character like megaman zx or megaman legend and the final boss megaman juno to compliment him...or megaman from battle network...I thought he was cool

Fist Dracon seems to have a huge look a like with Yun, all his appearance, specially on some attacks. Fist has a few differences, such as a redesigned look like metal and animal, being a chinese dragon-based Reploid, strange logo on his captain cap instead of a skateboard design, travels with a firejet attrached on his back to fly instead of Yun's classic skateboard and a deep robotic-like voice.

Unlike Kick Crane and almost similar to Shaman Monkey, he is active and energetic, very playful, upbeat and wacky. But, Fist Dracon's inteligence is a bit lower than Yun, so sometimes the kung-fu guy whould win a friendly match against this robo-dragon. However gets very angry, mad and destructive when someone hurts Yun severally. He enjoys more the punch attacks, as these are stronger and effective.

His past is unknown. But he was found by the Energix Trio in a lonely area, alongside with his other partners Kick Crane and Shaman Monkey.

Almost similar to Fist Dracon and Yang in appearance, Kick Crane is a crane-based Reploid. Similar to Yang, he is somewhat look a like the Dragon Reploid, althrough his colors on the thorso are red with yellow, he doesn't wear an army captain hat, his 'hair' is made by a known material similar to the hair components, the strongest metal and feathers, making him able to resist hits and don't getting damage on the skullhead, don't having firejets, he flies with metallic resistant wings (Similar to other bird-based Reploids like Storm Eagle, Storm Owl, Blaze Heatnix and Wind Crowrang). For some reason, he has a strange logo in one of his shoulders, his voice is the same exact as Yang, althrought with robotic-like echoes.

Not like Fist Dracon, he is cocky, cool and calmful, However, is more clever intelligent and a mouthy than Yang, obeying any of this kung-fu kid's orders, Kick even critics the own Negatrix due to their fight strategy. When Yang is seriously injuried, he gets a serious deal without any signal of joke that whould even kill the agressor. He enjoys more the kick attacks, as these are quick and strategic.

His past is unknown. But he was found by the Energix Trio in a lonely area, alongside with his other partners Fist Dracon and Shaman Monkey.

Relationships: Yasuhiro Hagakure (Best Friend), Yun Lee (Friend), Yang Lee (Friend), Fist Dracon (Friend), Kick Crane (Friend), Other Friendly Alliates (Friends).
Likes: Bananas, his rod, magic, plants and trees, Hagakure, climbing, clouds.
Dislikes: Dogs, ghosts, lemon and salt, harm to animals and plants, Sigma, hurting humans, The Hard Corps.
Weapon: Crystal Ball/Crystalline Sphere

His look is based on Hagakure, but like the two said above machines, he is a robotic ape Reploid based on a monkey. His tail can stretch longer enough to pick unreachable places, also his rod is somewhat mystic... he recalls that The Witch Doctor made it and Tarzan used it to repel the evil spirits. However, this rod was made artificially on the year Shaman comes from. He can create a nimbus cloud to ride it and travel to anywhere. His voice is more with robotic effects, wacky and squeaky than Hagakure, asuming the fact it's a chimp.

Unlike a bit Fist or Kick, he is very gullible and prone to panic. Althrought he is seen energetic and upbeat like the reptile, or calmful and cool like the bird. Due to his nature, he perfers to use psychic and magic attacks, instead of punches and kicks.

His past is unknown. But he was found by the Energix Trio in a lonely area, alongside with his other partners Fist Dracon and Kick Crane.



The Negatrix Trio hate Sigma, harming any human being, and a Reploid organization called The Hard Corps due to a strange memory that they somewhat still on their hard drives after their memory damage.

The Hard Corps is a Reploid group dedicated to save humans from anycreature attack, Mavericks included, however, one day they suspected about The Maverick Hunters to develop a fatal virus deadlier than the Maverick Virus, so they decided to attack them. Leaving The Hard Corps foolished by false alarms, mysteriously being corrupted to destroy anyspecies that whould get on on their way. Not much is known about The Negatrix on this corporation, but when the future arrives, it will sure the problems will rise.
