NO FACE/ KAONASHI EX-TRIGGER / DIVINE-TRIGGER

Rather than having a EX- move with super armor properties kaonashi can boost his moves by transforming into his Divine State. Moves done whilst holding "z" to initiate the EX-T are safe on block, deal more damage and have other unique hit properties
if you look closely his appearance also changes completely.

My friend, your skills are superb.

I lack the skills to contribute and wouldn't know where to start if I did. But Mugen needs this project to continue, it grants us all legitimacy and elevates the art form to being a clear competitor with industrial made games.

This is the free world market at work. They can either earn our money, or we as creators will simply do it better ourselves for free.

Thanks for the kinds words. I am humbled, I  do however wish I could do this for a living since I enjoy it so much. I'd gladly quit my job to sit down and create games for the community. But  my work schedule is getting heavy in real life so I just do what I  can, whenever I can.

New full 3d stage.
The stage is fully 3d like my oldskool stages and features no colour loss and burning torch animation. I will go over this stage graphically because I am not happy with how it looks (lighting, normal mapping) but since the rendering took so long I thought I'd post a preview anyway. Expect the overall appearance to look different in the final adaptation.

A.I ranking system that displays on the screen.  Works pretty good on survival as the A.I will toggle from level 1 to 8. It's a good indicator of what you are up against.





The Demigod rank is Only accessible to the final Boss Adriella and will not be affected despite the difficulty setting. Which basically means she is on cheap boss mode regardless.

UPDATES 14/08/16
Azumi is Battle ready
She is a Crouch dash/Wave dashing Archetype similar to Kaonashi and Donald.


In true Yakuza style fashion she also has access to a gun which can be reloaded when out of ammunition



Other updates and News
-just a few more tasks to be completed before beta testing volunteers are called.
-I have fully re-done TKD girls textures and re-modelled her face and costume a little.
-I have made the outlines on the sprites thicker for a more stylized effect.
-Mitsuko's loose hair was giving me problems so I have given her a tied back style. Much more easier to animate and deal with.
-Mtsuko also has Kneepads since my friend kept complaining that she needs them. I think they suit her.




What's left to do before beta testing volunteers
re-sprite the remaining demo roster characters; Aya Yasui, and finish mitsuko's overhaul.
-add at least 1 cinematic super per character. That should be it and finally a release. :w00t:

1) He has been bitching from day one about kneepads lol. He is a avid wrestling fan so it was a must for him.

2) Her hair got far too difficult to work with. Maybe in a alternate costume I'll keep her hair loose

3) Azumi carries a gun because she is gang affiliated (Yakuza) Plus she isn't an honorable person. She is borderline psychotic and sadistic which you'll see in her gameplay[/list]

To follow the pattern:
1. Uche was kinda rough there, but what matters - fully agree with him about design liked previous Mitsuko's design more... Somehow she looks more girly now, rather than womanly, don't like that.
2. To add a bit more flattery - we know you can :p
3. That's pretty common at those circles to have bottom half of chest wrapped in bandages and stick knives/guns in there for quick access. She looks cool like that and gun fits character :thumbsup:
Oh and new look of TKD Girls is great :thumbsup:

MITSUKO SUPER ART LVL3


Mitsuko's super arts and a few ways to combo in to it. The super arts do a lot of damaged when landed cleanly without combos. However the damage is scaled when tied to a combo.

I think the Vulcan Arrow needs an extra frame between the 6th and 7th frame, the 1st punch strikes very quick and barely can see it, just a nitpick.

The only thing I don't like is MITSUKO cannon. She is emotionless when uses the move, kinda looks someone puts the cannon on her hand. I think it needs to have more impact, more movement.

Thanks, But it doesn't make sense me moving to another engine without the necessary funds. You need to pay for all kinds of trading licenses when it comes to other industry used engines. A lot of people don't seem to realize this. You will be paying thousands to use which ever engine commercially.  My initial plan is to make some money off this project through patreon and possibly buying a commercial license for mugen like AIDUZZI did. Maybe I can even get this on steam if the paid commercial license covers that. From there on when I have the funds I will evolve the project into something more grand using another engine.

I think the Vulcan Arrow needs an extra frame between the 6th and 7th frame, the 1st punch strikes very quick and barely can see it, just a nitpick.
