and thanks Hyper that is the point i was trying to get at is that hollywood NEVER sticks to what's REALLY in the comics they just switch it all up and to there likeness and hope the fans would love it

Well to be fair, sometimes the changes movies make are actually very good. Take Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man.

I think Loganir said on his blog when he talked about the Avengers movie, Tony was never like that in the comics.

This. Jamie Foxx won a oscar/academy award for his role as Ray charles and was nominated for another for his role in collateral. He has the acting ability to play this role but we just have to wait and see if the director and script are any good so he can actually play the part.

Yes i know he played in Django and RAY (RAY was one of my fav movies btw) and he did well in them. but like i said i only see him doing THOSE type of movies not movies that are comic based. but that's just my opinion and i hope y'all can respect that. we shall wait and see how it turns out

wow, since when dc does movies with marvel? i mean we going to see dr. manhattan vs spiderman...!!!! !!!

 this electro look totally suck.. i was expecting some type of unsmaked version of him with some resemblance of his old costume.  i know they need to make it more serius but they could had give him some type of custom and keep him unmasked to show more menacing. and i know some of you dont see the changing of race bad, but can we see a black peter parker or a black bruce wayne? how about a white power man? its not about race but if they are black or white in the comics, why change them? its pointless to me.. im still having hard times to accept the samuel jackson as  nick fury..

i Agree with verz and them im all for stickin with the comics not the script from the directors seeing as how they always changing something around that's not suppose to be changed i understand that there using the electro from the ultimate's series but if that's the case he had NO CLOTHES he was just a big blue knock off dr. manhattan look alike in the comics if anything

Yea really.  I hope they are planning on adding some type of special effect or something.   

I expect we're going to see some CG electricity on his face that will sell the product.

As for me, I'm going to wait until Marvel starts to make their own Spider-man movies, then I'll start paying attention. For better or for worse, I'm not a fan of Sony rebooting the franchise when they had a perfectly salvagable one already running.

Spider-man 3 ruined the movie franchise hence the reboot and plus they introduced Venom way too early.

As far as Spiderman three its not that they introduced him too early. Its that it seems like the end was slopped together. And Venom was just bad. If you look at that movie a better venom (..Eddie and better CG). And a better ending and it could of been great its like at the end that just quit .

I think Black Nick fury is considered Nick fury Jr. or am I mistaken. I do think characters should maintain there race. Although I thought Kingpin could not have been done any better by any other actor . Is funny if they really wanted to have Jamie in the movie why not make him the prowler. I think he could nail that.

Actually, in mainstream marvel nick fury does have a son who is black, and has the eyepatch. but i thought he was a villain, although i could be mistaken because i only read a few comics with him and he was against nick.(at the end, nick dropped him off a cliff)

Well they arent going to make the guy Naked you know they want kids to be able to see this too.

I suspected they would go this route. Figures they'd go with the Ultimate version. Oh well.
I really like the make up they did for him. That actually looks kinda cool.
He's probably going to stay in the hood and normal clothing for most of the movie I suspect.
