I can't say if the look is good or bad because what I know of electro is what I know from the animated series. I will say I'm glad that didn't go with the one I know because that look is to cartoonish for the movie.

We already had a discussion about how the race shouldn't really matter. On top of that he's completely blue here so it's not like him being either black or white makes any difference.

Plus comedians CAN be serious if needed

Sorry hyper but im some what of a perfectionist when it comes to movies based off comics my belief is if you wanna base it off a comic then DO IT RIGHT DOWN TO THE T don't have As* it you feel me? cause you got kids out here who are rookies to the marvel comic universe and is learning the characters so when they see a movie like this it makes them think that electro is black the whole time when clearly he is not

So were you pissed at Thor because Heimdall was black? Or Daredevil(yes I know not a great movie) because Kingpin was black? Were you pissed off at the Ultimate version of Nick Fury since he wasn't his normal whiteness? Race does not matter, all that matters is the performance. How would you feel if they had a gay guy for each of those parts? I know I would feel indifferent.

A blue darth sith Electro? I can't say I like it... not a big fan of the bluish Ultimate version.

If they gonna paint a actor like that they should hire someone who is more experienced on blue villains



I guess the next thing Marvel will do for mainstream universe it's probably changing Electro origins and make his mother atlantean + a Kree father to explain all this blue .... I don't like when they always change the official comics with these movies differences.

my previous post  was just about character decharacterization   like we can see after Thor movie they changed all the status quo in the book concerning Asgard on earth and all... And as example now captain america uses the same armor from movies etc etc etc..

About costumes  you right about taking them serious... I mean a guy dressed as a giant bat or one in yellow an blue with claws or any colorful spandex would be like a halloween movie.

But they could try a different aprouch like they did in avengers movie, i mean some kind of armor like they did Electro in the web of shadows game

This is like 100% Ultimate Spiderman. I don't see nothing related to the Amazing Spiderman.
