We've been working on a lot of stuff lately :) today I did some work with Iron Man.

Working on the guards:




I really like the result. BUT, I'm using 2 explods (one with add and another with sub trans). Does anyone know a better way to implement this?

I'll be honest, I was kinda hoping Iron Man would have a different armor; but that's just a personal nitpick on my end.

i would have to agree with that, every iron man is the same boring overused armor, i want to see one that is different, yea people say it would be too much work, but i think it would be worth it in the long run. :Terry

I'd like to use the Extremis armor... but that will have to wait if I ever decide to do so :D The work Zv did with Iron Man is great, if I ever give a try to Extremis, it will surely be over this one (and then, the sprites can be used in other projects like AvX :) )

If the char is on a early stage and you have free time enough, you should ask Zvitor about his sprites.
Otherwise, this doesn't worth the trouble.

Zvitor already gave us permission to use his sprites, not to edit them, though :). Hyper, do you have any base we could use in case we decide to go with Extremis? I'd like to see how possible it is to include it.

Maybe the color of the armor should be a tad bit darker. The colors that I've seen in artwork of the Extremis armor don't look too bright.

I agree with darker colors.

About the project, as I said to Nestor, maybe the chars I am working (Doom 2099 and Storm) won't reach the first beta, since I am busy with other things.

Compared to the original Iron Man sprites, I think they're dark enough. But that's just me  :-??

Sorry for the lack of updates, but we're still working as much as we can.
In the meantime, some shots (I don't have internet connection since 2 weeks ago, so these will come from time to time):








Dante may take a while for upcoming demos, however, I'm thinking about finishing Leon first and then focus on Dante. Leon is receiving a palette separation from FeLo Llop, once he send me the sprites back, I may post his great work here as well.
