!E just shown the logo today :)! You can get an idea of the final screenpack (right now he's working on it) with this.

Characters are placeholders ;) it's just to show how they'll look (except for Hiryu):

And right now, I'm working on Dante sprites :) with the help of !E, Daeron, and Beximus. He'll be based on his UMVC3 incarnation, although I'm considering including weapons from all 4 Devil May Cry Series games (not counting DmC, that's a different universe). Some will be used with existing anims, some others may need new, but for now, I'll focus on spriting the whole UMVC3 set. Working right now on the walk back (still need to be polished).

Beximus helped me with the screenshots of Dante, and there're 494 (excluding gethits, those are almost done thanks to !E and Daeron). The moves are all smooth, so hopefully it will take a moderate time to sprite. Coding... well, that's another story, but for now, I guess I'll focus on Dante's sprites and continue with my WIP's coding (my sig, except for Leon for the time being).

Only 494? Given the massive amount of special moves they gave Dante I assumed it would have been over 2000

Yes, I thought the same actually. There may be some moves left, I'll double check it, but looks like the moves are mostly based on FX in some cases (like Nevan's attacks), and even have a repeat pattern (Ivony & Evory attacks).

A few questions concerning the game.

- Will Strider be given the updated look of Ragnarok?

- Does this mean an updated look of Arthur, Shuma, Jill, etc will be included?

- Will Rocket Raccoon be sprited?

- Will Shuma be given Mystic Ray, and updated Chaos Dimension, and an updated Devitalization?

- And will Spider-Man be given his new Maximum Spider?

@ neon, strider will not have the new Ragnarok, it is already coded but i will look at the new one and might change it in the future, busy with the other characters.

I have alot of plans for spidey and the new maximum spider is on the list

This is kind of a personal preference but I think it'd be cool if you incorporated ZV's web meter into it. I loved that mechanic.
