Marvel Vs. Capcom: MUGEN Edition

We may use this select screen for the project (right now, the CFAS SS is a different one), but the rest of the SP is going to stay different from CFAS.

Holy Guacamoleys! What do I see there?! A CFAS-like SP! Now that, I can say it's sick! I'm sure the SP will turn out different for this MVC Mugen edition.

This looks like its going to be a great project. Do let us know if you plan on doing auditions for an announcer.

Oh and another neat idea if you do use a VA for the announcer at the select screen when you hover over a fighter you could have the VA announce the name as well.

Shockdingo: right now we're just using Glassbox default sound. I'll see what are the phrases used in the LB's and the ones we may need in the SP, and I'll let you know buddy, it would be great to feature someone as the VA of the environment (Enso is already on CFAS, so is very much appreciated here as well) !

Just looked at the roster for Phase 1. Looks good; the roster seems to be well balanced, (so far), and it's a good mix of past entrees, as well as newcomers. (I'm also pleasantly surprised that Captain Marvel -- the original, no less -- is going to be in this one. Props. )

EDIT: Actually, I do have one problem with the roster, and that's the lack of Captain America. Yes, I do realize that he can be added later, but you'd think that the #1 Hero of the Marvel U would get a top-spot in the roster. (Thor's also an interesting absence, since he, Tony, and Cap make up the 'Big Three', and I'm pretty sure that there's a Thor available in Mugen.)

That is true, however while I like Captain America, I personally would like to see The Winter Soldier on the roster and maybe Hawkeye too since I don't think he will be in AvX.

Is there a Hawkeye in MUGEN, or at least sprites available? Because if not, they'd have to make him from scratch. In fact, all of the 'Phase 1' characters revealed so far either already have fully-playable MUGEN releases, are WIP's with a good deal of progress, or still at least have the necessary sprites on hand. If there's nothing like that for Hawkeye, he may have to wait until Phase 2, or even Phase 3, and that's if he's getting included at all. (I myself, personally hope Hawkeye makes his way in at some point, but I do realize that you can't have everyone.)

I don't believe there is at least I have never seen him at least. I do recall of Arkady working on one with someone but I don't know if he still is or not.

Since C. Viper, Morrigan, Zero, Hiryu and Dante are in the roster, for me it just need Hsien-Ko to be perfect.

maybe a 0.5 phase with half of this roster size should be cool too.

So here it is. It's going to come faster, we may focus on some of the hardest characters while we're at it (like Dante, and for next phases: X-23, Dr. Strange, X, Wesker...), and of course, it will be released sooner than the 1st phase I was thinking about (50 characters).

More characters are going to come for both worlds .

No. With this project, we want to use around 10-15 stages, probably in CPS-2 style.
