and as far as I remember, the game play is the same of the CFAS, and its already done.
agreed stick with cfas or some system other then the avx one. not that its bad. im just not stoaked about that system.

But... but... I really want to see that, hope Nestor puts the OTG and Bounce systems, it will be like MVC3/UMVC3.

I want games with that system because i cant afford PS3 o XBOX360 to play UMVC3 :_

I honestly don't care. Plus it seems unfair to compare the two engines.

AvX was built to play very similar to (U)MvC3 whereas C:FAS was meant to play very similar to TvC

That reminds me: I'm sure his specials will be different but will Doom 2099 have different standard attacks from regular Doom

The normal attacks are different too. Not every attack, but they are.
The only special I will keep is the molecular shield.

Off topic: not intensional, lol It just a easy name to remember (I've punched Cyclops a lot too).

I never was a fan of Doom, but he always had a good gameplay, I have great expectations for Doom 2099

Its a very well made MVC-like gameplay. Look at its videos.
It should have been PotS style, but that's just my opinion.

He will be both a mostly projectiles and a trap char.

Hey guys :) gameplay, in fact, is going to be like CFAS. I really like the system implemented in AvX (I like UMVC3, that explains it :) ), but for both CFAS and this project, we're going for a different style, a mix from different versus series games (MvC1/2 and TvC). I'd like the hypers to have the same feeling they have in MvC3, they look really powerful in the game, but hopefully this can be decided for each hyper, and by the creators themselves.

Not really.
He will have new super, new specials and even new normal attacks.
So no, he wont be just a pallet swap, but something completely fresh. Even if it doesn't look like that at the first glance.
Also, I hope you wont reuse the same lifebars like in CFAS.
In fact, I'm currently doing lifebars from a game, which fit your project as well. Interested?

His name will be Doom 2099, to identify him better.
His main palette will be the blue one, as on the original character.
Alienmorph had some nice ideas for him, and I will be making some of my own.

I will need help since there is no crouched attacks edited. There is anyone to help?

Oh, and I have some good news: Modern Storm is in.

What Ark and I were originally going to do was smart pal the Jim Lee Storm sprites to have both JL and Astonishing but that was too tedious for us.
