Also am I the only person who thinks the Pokemon designs seem to be getting worse since Gen 5? Chespin and Froakie look idiotic. And that antelope thing at the end ...

Well most mainstream Pokemon games are handheld games so that didn't surprise me that it's on the 3DS

You mean like the gamecube's Pokemon Colosseum and XD Gale of Darkness? I greatly enjoyed Colosseum. XD not so much.

btw Acey im a Gen 1 - 3 person. I stopped right after Emerald, Fire Red, and LeafGreen.

no you're certainly not alone

but it does look great, they should remake a 1-3 gen game in this styling, that i would get

Nintendo will never call their POKéMon games like that.
Also, this is a main adventure in 3D, which is not gonna happen as well.
And at last, there's no way, they can already know the GERMAN names of the new starters.
So yeah, it IS a fake.

If this is fake, someone sure put in a hell of a lot of time to make this. Preferring the look of the grass starter above the other two. Not since gen 1 did I think this.

As a huge Pokémon fan I find this a bit sad.. and good!

Whe do not need a new generations... I don't even know half of the names of Gen 5 :'c

Btw.. Yes It does have such silly names as X-Y... They had Black & White... Hi You Pikachu...and Gale of Darkness... Weird names ...

I'm the 1-3 Generations myself, and I as well as others would Love a huge COMPAILED remade game for the Wii U.. Of Kanto,Jhoto and Hoen into one! Maybe even sling in Orange Leauge?

But still, if it is coming for Wii U I will get it... never bothered to get myself a 3DS

For me. As a kid I knew the Pokerap. The whole thing. And all of them in numeric order too (Gen 1)

The game is going to be on 3DS. 3D space is interpeted by axis. X-axis, Y-axis and Z-axis.

Calling the games X and Y are refering to 3D planes in a 3D game, it makes perfect sense to name the games that way.

The reason is pretty simple: the games will be releases worldwide on october 2013 instead of doing it first on Japan.

For sure, gen 5 is my favorite gen then 1&2. It bought color human characters, good battling system, the whole region was epic, and the story was pure gold.

I think is more of getting used to. And I don't get why gen 1 was so great, Psychic type was the strongest and don't get me started on the money problem. And all gens had "ugly" pokemon, I am 100% sure if many of the 1st gen pokemon came out on the 5th gen people would be complaining on how ugly they are and how Nintendo isn't trying anymore. I seriously like every single Pokémon to date, maybe it depends on the viewer.... but that trash pokemon is one of my favorites.
