Either your controlling one of them or you have the difficulty set very low cause superman should of been fightin back more then that..should of just let the A.I.s fight..

And besides in a real fight goku would just look at superman and he would blow up

yeah i agree too skorp. superman barely fought back if at all but a few moves thrown at goku. i am sure superman would have went in and brung the fight.  Goku pretty much went Ham on him.  which i would expect  from goku to do anyway.  Thats still an awesome Goku period  . Now if the HR one was used.. fight would have been over cause that one is power beastly.    i say set the fight on harder mode so superman can get some fight in him going. Cool vid still.

The video is too choppy for me, since I am rarely at a good enough Internet connection, but from what it seemed, this Superman actually played better than the AI on the one I have.  The one I have will jump around a bit and charge his super meter the entire fight.  If he can ever get it charged, he never uses it, using that time to actually attack.  He looks the same as this one, though, so I wonder if this really is the same one.

that my friend is totally true. he does that indeed. so with him saying for superman to give his complete all no holding back.....either will goku and we might see the real goku emerge and give it a total 100% as well.

But i know somehow in the death battle Superman will win. Its American vs Japan basically and since the creators of death battle seem more comic book fan then Anime i believe Goku will lose since there knowledge on Superman might be far greater

I doubt it. Kid Buu was capable of destroying the universe, did destroy galaxies, and Super Buu and Gotenks both blew a hole in the fabric of a dimension.

Speed wise, I did some math and Superman's fastest was 1.3359x10^10 mi/h (13,359,000,000 mi/h)
And Goku's is instant, so it is essentially equal (don't think Superman is too far from "instant" at that speed)

Durability

Durability wise Superman has very narrowly survived being roasted by the Sun, left unconscious and in need of rescue. The same thing happened to Cooler, Frieza's brother, when Goku shot him into the sun at Super Saiyan 1. So I'd say Supes is around the same durability as Cooler/SS1 Goku

Strength, Superman has 200 Quintillion tons when he was overloaded with energy (triple his normal). DBZ really never does any comparison or acknowledgement of physical strength, though so it is hard to compare. I'd say Superman has that advantage though.

Energy

Obviously, energy projection goes to Goku. Supes has heat vision, hotter than the sun, but like I said the sun isn't the roof when it comes to DBZ. The sun is probably about the power of Ascended Super Saiyan Kamehameha, being that Cooler was strong enough to "take" a SS Kamehameha, and JUST strong enough to survive the sun. So I'd guess that a SS2 Kamehameha would be enough to beat the heat vision.

For non DBZ fans the Cooler I mention a lot is roughly the power of a fly compared to Buu Saga Goku. He was a bit stronger than Goku after he returned after beating Frieza, and was part of one of the best DBZ movies.

Plus Vegeta was able to destroy a planet as a child, Broly is able to blow up planets lightyears away with literally no effort. And as a final cheap method, Goku could theoretically destroy the sun, taking away Superman's power, and it takes 8 minutes for the heat from the sun to reach Earth, so Goku could finish him off and wish the sun back before everybody dies.

It always comes to which Superman against which Goku.  I think a good breakdown of who would work well together (based on the manga with Goku, since I haven't seen the anime):

Golden Age Superman - Red Ribbon arc Goku
Modern Superman - Namek arc Goku
Silver Age Superman - Buu arc Goku

In the Golden Age, Superman was simply super strong and durable.  He couldn't fly, but could leap great distances (hence the phrase "can leap tall buildings in a single bound" instead of "can fly").  In the Silver Age, he was at the most powerful he's ever been portrayed in a prime continuity, often with it said that he can juggle planets.  He was always pulling out new super-whatever powers out (super-ventriloquism, super-weaving, shooting rainbows out of his fingers to create a miniature version of himself--the Silver Age was weird), and could time travel with ease, along with a multitude of other things.

And could Goku take out the sun?  I know he could easily take out the moon (since Piccolo could, and he was already weaker than Goku at that point), but the moon is really a big rock, while the sun is a mass of energy and Goku's attacks against it would likely be energy based, which one would think would only fuel the sun.  And as it is, the reason for Superman being powered by the sun is that his body functions as a solar battery, absorbing the high energy of a red sun very efficiently.  So, if the sun were destroyed, he would still have power for a bit of time--the question would be if he would have enough time with the power remaining (and that's assuming he doesn't go back in time and soak in the sun before returning to the fight).

I cant help but think that during the death battle, both superman and kakarot will just hold back and continuously wait for the opponent to just keep getting stronger...which is gonna take forever to powerup to max...
