Agreed on LS, not on Sean Connery. Don't get me wrong: Sean Connery slaps Chuck Norris just to wake his hand up in the morning. But don't you think a distinctly American character would have a hard time coming across from someone with such a distinctive accent?

Christian Bale for Snake 100%. He said he'd love to do it, and if you look at his Wikipedia picture, he fits perfectly.

Why? Grey Fox is a mostly unseen (face) character...and somewhat of a background character.

I really hope David Hayter write the script, as Shadaloo said. For those who don't know he's the voice of Snake, but also co-wrote X-men 1 and 2 (not 3) and Watchman. He seems to bbe good at taking the original story and faithfully turning it into movie form. And few know MGS better than Snake.

Nick Fury is only even black in Ultimate Universe, so it depends which Nick Fury.

Also, I know his appearance was, but unless they dub over him (blasphemy of biblical proportions) it will be hard to say "Yeah, this guy is an American hero, and killed his own master for the USA." while he sounds like Sean Connery.

The thing i find odd about that (well funny) is the white Nick Fury came to the black nick fury bedside after the situation that had him lose his eye. Eh anyway its an issue i got earlier this year if i remember right. anyway when u mentioned that i laughed cuz it was actually two nick furys in the same universe. er sorta

eh anyway back on topic... i just hope they direct it real good. nothing goofy about it and some serious actors. basically metal gear is a damn good espionage film with a great plot. i hope they dont direct it like a typical videogame flick
