cause they tailor the battles and knowledge the way they want. look as the past db battles. they even make stuff up. batman lifting 1000 pounds? when and how? Look at the cloud vs link, thor vs raiden. ( tho raiden would lose he's immortal so its a point less battle.....) the only good battles were the very first few they did. As of late they been out to left field...

Been avoiding watching this Death Battle because I as POSITIVE that they were gonna have Batman win with little to no match from Spidey (like they did with Cloud vs Link) simply because EVERY TIME the Batman vs Spiderman debate comes up I see the Batman fans saying he would win hands down no contest because, "...Batman is prepared for EVERYTHING!" So imagine my surprise to read just the first page of this thread and see that they actually gave the match to Spidey! For the record, I am a Spidey fan...FAVORITE superhero for reasons I won't go into here as it'll just make this 'novel' longer. The point of my post is actually to say that after talking with a friend at work who is a Batman fan who also believed that he would win in said match-up, he thought about it for a moment and agreed that if the field was even with neither of the two having met previously he would have to give the match to Spidey...if there were a rematch then Batman, allbeit a tough battle, would probably take Spidey having knowledge of what he can do. So, with just reading the first page, so far ZV and Spider Mew are the ones who seem to get it this time. Again, for the record, I agreed with my friend at work...Spidey wins round one, but Bats would probably find a way to take him in round two if they meet up again.

I don't see what the problem is. They pretty much took everything away from Batman that makes him Batman other than his toys and fighting skills. With no prep time and no element of surprise Batman wouldn't beat of the foes that he has, would Spiderman beat him so easily, no way, but he would have won.

Dude, I use a bottle of axe spray or scrubbing bubbles on spiders. If it has eight legs, I'm drowning the bastard in stuff, I don't care what.
