Shang-Chi helped Spider-Man compensate for the loss of his Spider Sense by developing a new fighting style specifically meant for his hand-to-hand capabilities, in which he was able to fight against Carpenter flawlessly without being hit. When Peter Parker gained his Spider Sense back while fighting Kaine, he was able to use what he has learned from Shang-Chi with his Spider-Sense and he was able to throw Kaine into the pool of Anti-Venom cure, making him into a perfect clone like Ben Reilly.

I understand that Batman was supposed to defeat Spider-Man; even I was expecting him to win. However, Spider-Man's Spider Sense prevented Batman from doing anything to kill Spider-Man.

But don't get me wrong here; this fight is simply not up to expectations; Batman would have put up a fight If the guys who made this Death Battle made better use of the character by making him utilize his hand-to-hand capabilities better ALONG with his gadgets.

You are wrong. The Resault was correct. Batman didnt have months to plan out how he'd take down Spider-Man.
 
I read Spider-Island, I saw how much of a cool it turned Parker into. The way of the spider is the ultimate martal art when combined with the spider-sence.

If batman thought to bring some bugspray with him, it might have been differnt.

if he study spider powers and skills before fight, im sure he will find a way to win.

but one of rules of death battle is:

- you dont know your enemy, except if boths are from same universe.

Batman is the master of deception. He is easily as smart and string as Kraven, who managed to bury the Spider with standard equipment. Batman has taken hits from Superman, and would not get stuck in the web like that as he is a much faster escape artist then they imply.

As they actually managed to show, Batman would be able to hit Spiderman many times by just tricking him. Plus lets not underestimate Batman's fighting style. Even with Spidey's ninja skills and superior strength Batman is fairly close to Lady Shiva (no explanation on her power necessary) in terms of raw skill. Spiderman has fallen for many traps before, so Batman pulling one off is a given.

The main reason I knew this would be wrong: Batman's No Kill rule. They didn't even mention it, so it seemed pretty likely that he wouldn't have to worry about it.

Hadn't said result is correct or incorrect, it's dissatisfying for me, just that. Both could show more stuff, I've expected Batz to get off that web cutting it with batarangs or batcetylene torch and then continue fighting. Batman was there for too long and could've freed himself while Spidey was pulling other one. You remember Zangief vs Haggar or Wonder Woman vs Rogue? That was tense, who ever won it was satisfying, here we have not some unknown unpopular chars, but Batman and Spider-Man themselves, two of the most cool characters... After watching video I could've said only "and that's it?"

I'm a HUGE Spider-Man fan and i think that actually, it could have gone either way. Spidey has his strength, Spider-Sense and agility but Batman has the almost same kind of agility, more gases and gadgets in his belt and his stubborn determination to fight to the bitter end. Never count a man out because he doesn't have powers on the same level or because he hasn't studied as much as his opponent, there's always something they hold in their back pocket that will surprise anyone! Either way, a great match nonetheless!

No Kill Rule as in no killing super villian or heroes OR anyone?

...same thing with Spider-Man. The only person like Spider-Man that could cross such a line...is Kaine...and guess who he is now...

The fact that they even brought up the stuff from Spider-island surprised me and that they know there comic book knowledge. All in all i thought it was descent i am a Spiderman fanboy but i wanted this to be legit and well..This is as legit you can get. Though i agree what some people are saying about the Batman especially his no Kill rule.

Not only has Batman had encounters with characters similar to Spider-Man already, but they showed right in that video that Batman has officially met Spider-Man in the comics. Spider-Man attempted to join the Justice League. From that moment Batman would have studied Parker obsessively, learning everything he could about him. In the end, Batman would have been just as prepared to handle Spider-Man as literally every other hero he ends up fighting.
