Yeah pretty much man. but what bugs me out is it pumps out with all the joints thats moveable...
that was still hard to believe. a whole case frame looking like just a mold would be more believable but to maybe draw your own made up full action figure is pretty wild man^^

I should see if there is a Youtube video to re confirm what im reading there. Its still hard to believe

Hard to believe? This is hard to believe - http://www.extremetech.com/extreme/133514-the-worlds-first-3d-printed-gun but is real and working. As I say - humans are not ready for advanced tech, they prefer to kill each other, having power over others. That's sad...
Though I hope someday they'll make good 3D printer for food and we'll be able to download and print some tasty stuff ^-^just imagine - no need to go to the shop, no need to work in the kitchen - just print and enjoy. Well, if there would still be someone to enjoy that, when that technology would be potentially created... :( Ah, excuse me, guys, I'm just in disappointed of humanity mood.

yeah exelord i can only imagine. full human retardness will happen. plus not the fact that if this became a basis for population consumers... 1. put companies out of business 2. Morons on psychotic levels get they hands on this who knows what destruction and chaos will happen.

Humans are violent, chaotic and destructive by nature and as well caring , nuturing and emotionally moved by various things.  we havbe the power to build, destroy, help, preserve and all sorts. giving us too much power and control with something like this can be a very good thing or a totally bad one.

but i still want that Gundam robotic thing and dont care what anyone says. LOL!

a few things to mention
1. the CHEAPEST 3d printer you can buy is $1000, and it doesnt make big things
2. as far as the gun goes the workings of the gun were not printed (and were probibly bought) only the stock (shell/ caseing of the gun). albiet you could not fire the gun without this, it isnot in itself a gun, is not dangerous, is not fireable
3. the last time i checked a 3d printer cannot make moveable joints (print them already together that is), i think it has to make individual parts and you have to assemble it
You know they're scraping the bottom of the barrel when they make me a mod

Yep, you printing solid parts and then assemble 'em.
As for gun - he needed spring and bullets and it's ready for shooting. It's not a matter in that case though - normal gun costs somewhat 600-800$(legally, where that's legal, their price probably is bigger on black markets) this one - 250$ for 1kg of material(obviously less is needed for one gun)+spring(few cents) and some ammo, but thats needed for regular one too so cost is not included. That + you don't need a license for that gun(you may be crazy psychopath, and license is for preventing person like that owning guns) it have no serial number(well, I know from movies that you can erase number, but still). So we have more then half cheaper, unregistered guns, which even kid can make easily accessible. :-?? Nothing good. :( Price tag for 3D printer - yes, now it's big, but now as they are not common yet, but then again - if you bought one selling 4 guns for 300$ will cover all sum spent on printer and materials.
Maybe they'll manage to make protection somehow, like on regular printers for money(you can't print money with them), though it's hard to make - how you would recognize if it's gun part or not? :-??
I don't understand that... All people on Earth could live peacefully, with all of their basic needs covered. With no conflicts we can place best scientists to research other planets colonization, so even if we exhaust our planets resources and have overpopulation we may move to Venus or Mars, then others. Our tech can advance to much higher levels it's hard to imagine what amazing stuff we might have... Yet people are fighting for money(you guys checked story of Fabian in my sig? it's all probably well known, but in very accessible form of tale) and power... Ruining life for those, who just want to live in peace...
Eh, some essay I writing... Sorry, guys, this all getting to me. There's possibility of terract in London on Olympic Games organised by Rothschild(there's too many people doesn't support USA's course in Africa, if there would be some "arabian terrorist" exploding thousands of people course would be accepted), we are on a verge of 3rd World War, where Russia would be thorn apart by radical islamists, China and USA... And what can I f-ing do with that? Right, nothing... I can't even form small group of same-minded people, nobody thinks of that and when I'm telling 'em - they are "meh"ing at me... I'm telling people that on security of Olympic Games was spent 24 billions instead of planed 2,4, they saying "and what?", I'm saying that over million(1,850) cameras was set up and they don't give a damn, I'm giving them article from the Guardian that London is 1of3 most dangerous places in this summer in same row as Kabul and Baghdad and people telling me to stop bothering over nothing... I'm not my-regular-self these days :(

Printing a gun is worse then the guns already coming off an assembly lines in the millions all over the world how?

As for the model thing, thats pretty cool.

he needed spring and bullets and it's ready for shooting.

no, he made the abs plastic stock (almost all of 3d printers use)
he didnt make the chamber/ barrel, hammer, trigger mechanism
these parts HAVE TO BE made out of high(ish) quality steal (metal)
if you had a plastic chamber the gun would explode in your hand

edit: i'm sorry if my posts require too much gun knowlage (names and stuff), i'm a gun guy so it's all simple in my eyes

He printed stock and receiver for sure, he had problems with receiver, but solved it, in one of sites I've read that chamber needed to be of metal, yet others don't say so and there's nothing about other details, nothing. And this:
