Got the game yesterday. Man, what a big improvement over BL1! Couldn't imagine Gearbox making a better game. AI and enemy behavior is better, almost realistic. Got use more strategy to take them out. Head shots are harder atm, but I will perfect my skills in that. Went with Zero because when my gunplay's not up to par I'm going in swinging my sword  . Will give Axton a try later once I'm familiar with the game.

@DMK: I saw the season pass & the other. Absolutely crazy, especially the one available next year. I plan to purchase both.

HUGE HEADS UP CAUTION FOLKS....

Whatever you do when you get to the later mission where you are in the overlook/highland area i think and you have to help the people their build a force field for their lil town and crush shields you dont want anymore DO NOT make any mistake and drop any guns over there!. there was a glitch that happened to me where i lost one of my Hottest and most powerful shotgun...i got it from clap trap and i couldnt find it again. theres other shotguns but my level is just a bit off and i cant use those kinds yet i was salty about it because i thought i could be slick and just turn off the console but i guess where i was standing at it saved everything instantly

anyway i guess i hit the drop selection by mistake and the weapon dropped by the grinder. it didnt grind it but i couldnt pick the gun up anymore...it froze there

so Becareful with that!

Yeh it wouldnt be a bad idea. it would be worth it. you can get familiar with the cast and characters and see how much the game has grown and stepped up in the new one....Both great games...BL2 is a true and very good video game sequel

So I rented the first game and I must say I'm not having much fun. It feels like I'm playing a run of the mill MMORPG... But singleplayer and with FPS gameplay. I admit I'm not far into it, but it just seems dull so far. I know people love this game, so please someone tell me it will get more interesting.

who did you start off with?

if you dont like Fallout games then more than likely you wouldnt likely you wouldnt like that kind of game . that game is huge. hella weapons. tons of enemies. tons of missions and the world you travel through is pretty huge. I cant tell you if it will get more interesting because again it depend on the kind of gamer you are.

You can go head and rent the second one but then again it would be a waste because both games content are the same except the second one is stepped up a whole lot in ways the first isnt. although IMO it was a great game. Both of the games replay value is high. you can more so beat the game and still go back and do all the side and hidden missions you didnt get a chance to do before meanwhile leveling up more and more

I picked Mordecai. I am getting more into it now that the quests have more variety, but still not loving it 100%. I can tell this was sorta designed with Co-op in mind, so if I had someone to play with I may enjoy it more, I don't know. I'm going to keep playing it because I have it for a week, so maybe I'll get hooked. I wasn't into Uncharted or Kingdoms Of Amalur at first either, but I pushed through and I like them now.

I can tell this was sorta designed with Co-op in mind, so if I had someone to play with I may enjoy it more, I don't know. I'm going to keep playing it because I have it for a week, so maybe I'll get hooked. I wasn't into Uncharted or Kingdoms Of Amalur at first either, but I pushed through and I like them now.

Yeah, BL1 was way more focused on co-op. The strong points of the game are the infinite possibilities when it comes to guns, the RPG elements, co-op and also humor. I'll admit, the game can get a little "dull" at some points when you have no one to play co-op with though. Also, honestly, Mordecai aint exactly the best char to start with. I would've went with any of the other 3. Not saying Mordy isn't good, him and Bloodwing are monsters, the other chars are just a bit more fun to use.

ah you started with the bloodwing master....ehem well lets just say that duo comes to an sad end in the second one. epic but sad. me i started off with brick at first in BL1 but then got tired of his style then went with Roland because of his Gun turret and shield...heh in a way that turret is basically your second partner...i love flanking the crap out of enemies. it detects any threat and blast it away and yes you can level that skill up. In the second Axton is pretty much like Roland but a bit better on his Gun turret ability enhancements. You can have it stick to walls later or have a huge force field bubble around where you can stand inside it too. cool sh*t

The game has a lot of treats man. weird ones too. My favorite DLC story mission in BL1 Is the zombie island of dr ned....that was hot on some resident evil sh*t in its own way

I'm starting to get into the game now. I tried all 4 characters and I'm going to stick with Mordecai because I don't have a meatshield playstyle. Still, wish there was atleast some kind of stealth system though. I think the moment I got hooked was during an Onslaught of Skags and Bandits. At first I thought "Oh sh*t! They're going to destroy me!" but then realized the were attacking each other which made me chuckle a bit. I was starting to like the game more and more, (and the amazing revolver I just picked up helped ) but for some reason that bit drove it home. Still not my first choice, but it is fun. I think I'll wait for the price to drop on the second game before I pick it up though. But I'll definitely rent it when I'm done with the first game.

and thats just the tip of the iceberg bro. there will always be another gun that will out do the current on you have and on and on...and yeh man in the Borderlands world there are no friends. If the creatures are around (even the flying ones) they damn sure attack the bandits and psychos. in the second Game some psychos go so crazy and hulked out (literally)and  they just attack and kill everybody...yeh its funny at first but once they kill their victim they absorb em like a highlander and evolve into a super bad butt version of themselves once they take enough lives. even the biggest psycho is in danger along with you That only happens when they are near death and they go into Rage mode and screaming

always remember that each animal and human enemy has a higher or even more vicious version of themselves either in hit damage, smarts or size in actual visual difference...if you see an enemy with a skull and cross bone icon over them that means you have hardly no chance in killing them and 9 out of 10 times they will kill you in just a few hits...youll have to deal with them at a higher level of course....unless you wanna rambo that sh*t out and waste ammo


Keep playing through the game....trust me enemies and areas get crazier....BL2 is that times 10 The highest level i reached (in BL1) was 68 i think...you can go higher than that actually and so does the enemies
