She probably fought them before but she's primarily an enemy to the hero Firestorm, who is not in the game. So by that logic should we bring in Copperhead because he fought Batman and Green Arrow before.

Swamp thing a stand alone character who actually has one of the best books after the new 52. what's Ivy got? a couple appearances, all of which I found mediocre.

I notice you are INSANELY biased towards female characters to the point of hypocrisy. You want power girl in yet you call Zod a "clone" without even seeing any gameplay.

But he's a Vertigo char so I don't think he'd count as legit DC ... which would probably make him a more appropriate guest char than Scorpion

Killer Frost wasn't related to any other character in the roster and she's not too well known; so that argument's invalid.

He's mainstream DC. Vertigo is actually in universe canon to DC even if it have a different label at the top. Regardless, now he's just under the normal dc label since the new 52.

Swamp Thing actually originated as a DC character, got moved to Vertigo, and has migrated back with the New 52. His publication history is not too unlike Zatanna's.

Ivy did not get "a couple appearences". She was always between the most famous Batman villains, and since Swamp Thing was moved, I doubt he would appear.

Also, hold your tongue. I never said that I wanted Power Girl, in fact I said:

Well, I wouldn't really like her in the game due to her similarity to Superman, just like Zod, but since the game needs more women, I think Supergirl or Power Girl would be better than him.

Look, in one of his tweets, Ed Boon said that the additional character (or characters) came from player requests. Since Martian Manhunter was hinted and he is probably the most requested, I'm sure its him. Also, I hope Zatanna is included too, after all, she is also amongst the most requested.

But adding another one is really exaggeration, I would prefer a Batman game than a DC game with lots of Batman chars. Even if Poison Ivy or Mr. Freeze, which I want in the game too, would be just more Batman chars, and that would be very annoying.

Swamp Thing was on the player polls, before anybody forgets, so his history with Vertigo is irrelevent and the development team has already put him under consideration.

they added scorpion, they just dont care about any history or from where char comes, no doubt ST is a possibility... but he looks hard to be done, and to DLC i tink they always go with easy choises....

Fun game, I played the training, story, then beat the arcade mode with Batman.  What a tease with the grayed out DLC characters on the select screen.  I'll buy them eventually.
