This seems so G-damn weird. The Metroid universe is so serious, and the Star fox universe is full of midget like anthromorphic creatures. I'm interested to see what they are going to do here. :/

F-Zero sorta crosses over with Star Fox. Octoman in SF and James McCloud in FZ... So why not all three while we're at it?

I keep saying this, but everybody disagrees... Also, The Galactic Space Federation (The organization Samus works for) exists in the F-Zero universe. Several characters work for the organization. Jody Summer, John Tanaka and Lily Flyer to name a few.

Metroid: Shooter game, involves a soldier type character that uses guns to fight aliens/enemies.

F-Zero: Racing game, all characters are racing pilots/drivers, no 'fights' occur outside the cars.

Star Fox: Shooter/Action game, soldier type characters are always using guns/ships to fight aliens/enemies.

Once you get past the cartoon-y-ness of SF, it seems more similar to Metroid, if you ask me.

Any way it goes, however, I think it could work. F-Zero chars to seem to have enough weapons/violence to them to make it work.

I think the SF/Metroid thing makes sense, once you get over the fact that they are animals. If they were human, it would be one of Nintendo's most serious games, right? Both are guns blazing, spaceship flying, soldiers that fight monsters.

Maybe if the stig was a Army Commando.

You are thinking of this as though the cast f F-zero are all only racers.

Captain Falcon is a BOUNTY HUNTER (like samus)

Numerous other characters are things rangng from a parody of star Fox to super heroes.

F-Zero doesn't need to be a racing game. Have you read any of the racer's bios?

I gotta agree with Sanji on this Whip. While the characters of F-Zero would be cool in an action game, Star Fox would fit in better with Metroid at this point in the franchises. What you're talking about would be "Metroid! Now With Captain Falcon!" But personally, I'd just like to see Star Fox 3 (64 was pretty much a remake of the original) or F-Zero 4.

Star Fox 3
Metroid: Whatever: So long as it is awesome
F Zero for Wii U

Maybe they could work the 'crossover' in, like playable Samus and Star Fox as racers in F-Zero.
