Looks great. I notice that X's Stance is different then Classic Megaman's Stance. I'm downloading a few things to get my Mugen up and running. (Finally got a new(er) PC) and I will leave some feed back on actual game play. :)

I tried to get as close as the original version but then I realized that the base is the best version to it as is. In fact I regret not using the original base enough, X was good for it's game but not for a ryu standard fighter type.

Dude. Work on the controls

The controls are odd at first, but I like the balance I made. The control style is a blend of mvc and the SNES side scroller style.

The controls are unique.

You can dash with the A button like you would in MMX1 and jump with the B button. I even got wall climbing to work as well. You can shoot with Y button and charge. Even the dashing maneuvers are included like mid air dashing, and long jump dashing "A+B". You can also dash from the wall you climbed.

You have to play as if you were playing Mega Man X1 for the snes.

WOW i stand corrected  @^@

It's a surprise because it's almost 100% different then what you would expect.

However I strongly felt that the classic MegaMan X games had some amazing play mechanics because of the tight control system they had. Fighting in the X series style allows for faster combat, more mistakes, more opportunities, and better use of a projectile based shooter type fighter in such a long range combat zone.



All of these elements taking place at once gives the gamer some serious intense moments while fighting.

I'd like to beef up the A.I. (if I can code it somehow?) someday to really have that uber experience.

what you said about the X seies is ture. i tried to play the oringal MM series the other day and man. the stages (Not bosses) are so hard. Cant make one miss stake.

Check this vid out, it really goes in depth on how the X series really made it a whole new fighting experience.



I wanted to create this kind of feeling in this release to try something a little different from what we are all used to.
