yea, i tink the same... i cant just ignore xp users, lot of people still use, also will not wait for a engine update,

v0.91 added, this way you will not play at fisk tower twice.
just to be sure, at some point of fisk levels, u quit game and then loaded a save game to finish it?

Tested it under Wine in Linux, and it runs almost perfectly. The sound is messed up at first, but eventually (normally once the game actually starts) it all works out.

BTW, how did Wolverine sheathe his claws? I did it by accident, and couldn't figure out how...

wolverine plays different,
he only does his attacks:
F,F+A
U,U+A
D,DF,F+A
if you have energy at mp bar, so all this attacks spend mp, to recover it, you should play without claws for a while (D,D+A)
whiout claws you play a little more faster, but cant grab, defend and does less damage.

ok, beat the game with the Iron Fist version... no problem either...
also no problem with the helper select

i almost shed a tear watching that video! lol this is definitely a great game from what i saw and i can't wait to play it. reminds me so much of that marvel superheoes beatem up for the snes. keep up the great work!!

I played up to stage 6, some characters are fun to play as (Spiderman, Vision, Thor, Wolverine), others seem to be missing half their movesets (Punisher,Cyclops, Nightcrawler). Surprisingly no errors for saving iron fist.

Seeing it is a 1.0 release with like 30+ characters, I'll take it for what it is and enjoy. Thank you zvitor!  :thumbsup:

Really?  I didn't find Nightcrawler lacking at all.. he was actually pretty fun to use.   I'm just curious, what is it that you feel he's missing?   Given the kind of beat 'em up game that it is, what else could he have done?   I think, for the type of game it is, that he used his power just great (especially the D,D + Attack move... I was hoping Zvitor would hive him that type of move for his power move.)  His regular teleport special move comes in handy too, especially in groups of enemies.  He can move quickly and attacks as he re-appears.  The cool thing is he does a sort of split kick that hits both sides of him.   He might be a little weaker than the rest of the cast, but he more than makes up for that with speed and mobility.   I think Zvitor did a fantastic job with Nightcrawler in this game.  :)

Please understand I'm not being a wise guy here at all, I really am just curious as to what you think he's missing?

i tink iron fist error happens on windows xp, but im not sure yet.....

this guy did a nice combo with nightcrawler, his basic combo + dash attack + basic combo 9:35


and punisher is one of my favorites, his gameplay is similar to cyclops, you need some pratice to keep enemys far with his specials.

i tink all chars have some good point to explore.
anyway, my goal was not a ballanced roster, just like comics, i dont want to see a char like black cat so killer like hulk.


.... tip of day:
at hard and story modes, look for bishop at sentinel factory and for human torch at street sky level.

Ok, I played through Story Mode and Avengers team mode. Awesome job on this. Favorite characters are Captain America (duh), Hulk, Ms Marvel, and War Machine. Playing Hulk feels like you're actually controlling Hulk, which is strange for a beat em' up. Really good job ZV, this is now my favorite Openbor mod out there. Only wish I could throw it on the Wii. :thumbsup:

i dont tink war machine a great char, i die a lot with him, but i like to play with him, like his moves in this game, 
 i tink a hulk just need super jumps + area attacks + high knockbaks to feel like hulk....

Only wish I could throw it on the Wii. :thumbsup:
i need to release one more small update, i just want to be sure there are not more error on fisk tower, then i will release .pak file at lavalit, so you can play it on other systems.

what you guys tink about difficult of game?
i setted 3 lifes and 10 continues to story mode, i tink is enough, but i saw 2 Playthrough at youtube, and this guys die a lot, and probably will not finish game...

hard mode, i know.... is hard, but is not impossible, 9 lifes, after beat final boss i still had 5, probably because i know where i setted somes secret lifes (tip of day 2: they are in somes maps at same place where SoR games set they secret lifes)


and team mode, is a bit more hard then story, usually i lost 2 lifes only at prologue, but have lifes enough imo.

Really? I think War Machine is awesome. Only thing I would change is his jump attack. And the difficulty thing, the only level I had problems with difficulty was the last stage. I died ALOT. Maybe 15 continues instead?

EDIT: One character I wanted to like, but couldn't is Hawkeye. Maybe swap his Up Up and his Down Forward attacks?

Also, either that first elevator at Fisk Tower is crazy impossible to not die at, or I just suck. lol

i loved the game and moon knight is one of my favorites. i feel that all the characters are exactly how they are supposed to be. the only thing is to change ghost rider's hellfire to him breathing fire or make it closer because it's hard to hit the enemy. also make it everytime he uses his bike for a dash attack make it lower the special bar, kinda like wolverine when he has his claws out. other than that everything is great

i tink after some time you learn to get timming of enemys to defend and not be raped by large groups.

2 info i forgot to say:
- U and D you can select pallet, just in case you never palyed openbor before.....
- a engine bug, lets suppose you save your game at stage 5 with wolverine.
later you load it, you still playng with wolverine, BUT if you die, at continue you only can choice 6 first avengers chars, until stage is done and you goes to another select screen, after that you can die and select any of unlocked chars.

I must not have played long enough with said characters, the nonexistent grabs for some characters is what my issue was.

I love the gameplay and the engine you put together, playing bor for around 7 years now seems refreshing and not like a 3 hour punch fest like some of the earlier mods available at the time. Huge fan of your work, I approve of this game and I'll continue watching your skills improve even further.

No no, you misunderstand.   I wasn't under the impression that you were trying to start trouble or anything.. I didn't take it that way.   I was merely curious as to what you thought was missing that's all (maybe you had something unique in mind that I wouldn't have thought of).  There were no hard feelings, sorry if you were made to feel that you said something wrong.  That wasn't the intention.


@Zvitor:  You're welcome.  However, I'm the one who thanks you.   I was very happy that you put him in the game.   With all the characters that Marvel has to offer, Nightcrawler could easily have been over-looked lol.

there are more talents in game,
one great spriter named WOLFbroo (never heard about him before) is doing a fantastic fantastic four....
human torch and the thing is done, waiting for more,
jhfer did a lot of enemys not used yet, and completed guardian sprite sheet, so he should be playble, also one of his char already sprited are at ending of x-men team mode.

got a few questions:

once you beat the story mode all chars should be unlocked?  Well mine are only unlocked at the beggining  of the avengers stage then once you beat whirlwind it only lets you pick the limited ammount of chars you had before you beat the game. ex

start story mode all chars unlocked
beat whirlwind now only have avengers and xmen is this how it's suppose to be?

when selecting team mode what are the grey out screens suppose to repressent?
