Life...it can catch us unaware. It doesn't wait for us to be ready. It is just there. Sometime it can catch up to you in ways you can't possibly understand. Has there been a time when life has caught up with you?

Now actually. Don't know if you've noticed but I haven't been around nearly as much as I used to be.

Normally i dont pay you no mind but reading this i feel i should talk. What got you asking a question like this.

I have recently had a event that mad me take a step and look at everything as a whole. Dont know if it applies to this topic but ill share. A few months ago i was involved in a car accident. I was trapped under a semi and drug a half a mile. Luckly for me im quick witted and walk away with out a scratch. The accident was cause by debar on the road and my lack of care.

At the time of the incident i was cool,clam, and like what ever. it wasn't till i got home that i realized how close i came to dying and the impact it would have on those around me. It bought tears to my eyes to hear my bothers reaction the event. He told that in the world no matter how many people there are in the end its just us, family. This  Quest (Life) your supposed to travel with me to the end.  As i laid in my bed i got the same feeling again. i laid there alone and looked around the room. all meant nothing accept those that reminded of my friend who hadn't made it home yet. I thought. how could they lye in that bed alone. How would they feel if i hadn't made it back..... it made me want to charish every moment i have here with family and friends.

wow..truly sorry to hear that.in my life i have also gone threw hell and back but not as bad as you have..i think the only time i came close to death is when i was lil and i was playin a bit to much and knocked my head on the concrete which left me unconscious 4 half the day i didn't know wat happened all i know is all i could see was white..it was pretty weird stuff

wow thats crazy rage..glad you walked away from that situation man. heh ive couldve died on 3 separate situations in my life and thats all ill say on that. im very lucky to hit my 30s and its another reason why i slowed part of my lifestyle down a lot..

life is way too short....

wow lets see. with my life has just gotten crazier and crazier. crazy meaning at portions deadly and other livelyhood threatning.

where i live, these kids are shooting at each other everyday, for nothing. sometimes hitting people that have nothing to do with whatever problem they beefing about. its my generations children that hads their children when they were too young not just in age but in mindset to even give good guidence. i was coming home from work and stopped by my moms, went to the store and drove back i saw a dead body layiong in the street 4 doors from my moms spot! young guy got shot from what was said to be either a attempted robbery or a past issue that caught up to him. old beef. and this guy was 22. if was a robbery attempt then that could have been me but a few minutes after i left to go to the store.

not includiong in my youth drug dealers having turf wars and me ducking bullets gettin shot at and i was playin basketball with my kid friends. those were teenagers doing that stuff. scared the crap out of me to hear ping ping ping right next to me and bullets whizzing pass my ears.

with personal stuff, its been loosing my great paying job i had for almost 5 years because of company downsizing and switchovers, i did schooling for years for this and look what happens. had a great run with it and now i am back to square one . workin at jobs that pay me far less than my skills work experiences wise and book smarts ( yes i am book smart )and have to live with family for now. raising a teen high school daughter who needs and wants stuff, send money and stuff to my son who is almost a teen and keep it going without fail to help support him while he lives 5 hours away and cant see him like i have always done and now just holidays ands summer vacations and just trying to make ends meet with what little i have.   But i stay realistic and optimistic and time to make changes has come. so things are about to get better with moving from this tired city i used to love as a kid thats now just insane and refuse to raise my children who arent from here in this place, 2 new jobs and one paying awesome so i might just have the one and life will hopefully and surely get me back to where i was 2 years ago.

Mugen spriting and doing this stuff has kept me sane. i am thankful that mugen and the IMT fam,CROM bros and friends i made kept me from going nuts in these hard times. Mugen is great remedy to focus your mind and ease  the stress. thanks.

This isn't about me, but recently, someone I know who is an artist posted her latest dA submission, and she's got A LOT of things to do that she just doesn't have time to draw anymore. I really feel sorry; she was a classmate who was a senior at the time I was a freshmen in high school. Two years late and any signs of life from her is pretty rare. Shame really.
