Well some of the stuff I already see in here! You got the pausetimes in the air combo like I have in mine and also the superjump too!

NIIIIIIIIIIIICE!!!!!!!!!

Yeah man, now that's how you do it! And remember, you can make new hyper moves very easily if you remember this one simple thing: Hyper moves are nothing but super enhanced special moves most of the time. So with that said, if you want to make a new one, you can either make another statedef with a copied special and then tweak it to turn it into a super move with modified damage, juggles, pausetimes, velocities, hits etc....

Then another way you can do it is by combining one special move with another thus creating somewhat of a different outcome  by using the same technique I stated above and then changing the changestate like this

[StateDef 3000]
type = S
movetype= A
physics = S
juggle  = 1
velset = 0,0
ctrl = 0
anim = 0
poweradd = 20
sprpriority = 2

[State 3000, 1]
type = HitDef
trigger1 = AnimElem = 6
attr = S, NA Change that NA to HA, because HA states tells mugen its a Hyper Attack
damage = 150
animtype = Hard
guardflag = MA
hitflag = MAF
priority = 3, Hit
pausetime = 10, 10
sparkno = 0
sparkxy = -10, -76
hitsound = 5, 0
guardsound = 6, 0
ground.type = High
ground.slidetime = 5
ground.hittime  = 12
ground.velocity = -4
airguard.velocity = -1.9,-.8
air.type = High
air.velocity = -1.4,-3
air.hittime = 12

[State 3000, end]
type = ChangeState
trigger1 = AnimTime = 0
value = 3001:This right here is telling you what statedef the character will be go next
ctrl = 1 < This is what makes it so that you can regain control but since your going into another part of the newly made supermove, make sure to change it to 0 and it should be like this

ctrl = 0

Then once the next part of the move is finished in the next statedef, make sure the changestate looks like this

[State 3001]
type = ChangeState
trigger1 = AnimTime = 0
value = 0 . this now puts your character back into the standing common statedef
ctrl = 1 >>With set to 1 now you have control again, as it should be cus it is the end of the move

[State 220, 3]
type = ChangeState
trigger1 = AnimTime = 0
value = 0
ctrl = 1

I recommend doing this if your wanting to make quick hypermoves. Most of the characters in mugen basically have hypers made using this same thing, but there are still things that are different that need to be changed to make it a full hypermove. That will come later...but anyway, I hope this helps you make new hypers because this will help you along the way when your trying to learn how to code because the more times you do this,you'll have to go thru trial and error and overtime by looking at other peoples coding you'll learn how to code more things yourself.

Oh and also, you might have to make a copy of the special or hyper move's animation and adjust the ticks on the frames, because some special moves have longer ticks on it. Also be sure to give the copied animation a new number

While you update Cyclops:

Do you think Shin Optic Blast would be better if the last beam attack was wider and does more hits?

I don't want to throw my personal taste and say you should do it and stuff, so I'm asking..

Am I missing something or are these actually not patches but full releases of edits?

btw you may wanna rename the folder/file to somethign else that does not have "mvc2", because the wolverine you patched doesnt play mvc2 at all and people tend to complain: WHY ISNT THIS MVC2!!!??? IT SAYS MVC2 IN THE FOLDER NAME SO IT SHOULD BE MVC2 YOU FAIL!!!

Ok, I have been watching this thread and I have to admit, I'm real happy to see someone doing edits similar to the patches. I came to finally check out the improvements and when I saw the Wolverine AC+BC releases, I was crunk for this release and especially since I know the best two Wolverine's made were Sanders71337 & Vyn's creations.

I downloaded them and played with them for 10mins a piece <_<|...| <_<|...|

 >:( :|

I'm dissappointed with both creation compared to the original counterparts.

Their game play feels like CvS, which is ok, considering I like that style as well, but these are two different versions of Wolverine. Why are they both playing the same, doing the exact same moves?? The pushback on their normal attacks don't link well to complete a nicely executed chain combo. Not to mention they don't have launchers at all.

You gave BC Wolverine the MvC3 voice effects, nice touch, but I shouldn't be saying "unexceptable" everytime he finishes an opponent during a hyper. Makes him sound like a villain. Think about it. A lot of heroes, especially knowing his character, doesn't sound like that.

You took AC Wolverine's original D+HK Dive move out, plus three of his hypers that were given to him by Sanders (Healing Factor X, Berserker Rage and 1337?!!! Really?! For real?! Ok.....).His Drill Claw is spammable giving him a infinite way of punishing the opponent even when they are down. I see a strange frame in his Tornado Claw and it allows him to cancel into a normal air attack which is "unexceptable".

I like the fact you tried to do the dodge from CvS with them both.  That was real creative, but he gets stuck when you began to crouch right after its performed.

This is not a laughing matter and I believe you can do better than this. The originals were not too accuarate themesleves, but original nonetheless. I'm going to wait for the updates on these two specifically, only because of majority of the Marvel + MvC styled characters, Wolverine is my favorite of them all.

So, in conclusion, all I can say is, keep learning, keep studying the craft of patching and soak in what resources you can find. IF you even have to ask the originators of the craft do so, but I'm just saying.....

Biospark, have you checked out ArielAlexCo's Wolverine? It destroys Sander's and Vyn's, IMO. I don't think it got widely distributed, but I believe it's available at Scruffy or at AAC's site if it's still up. It was kind of a stealth release.

I highly disagree, Snakebyte. Just tried out ArielAleXCo's Wolverine, and his is similar, if not, worst than Boreyama's patch. Why is Berserker Barrage doing 2 hits and the hyper version does 8-hits?

Am I doing a Lv.3 from Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors' Dreams?

And his chain combos are a bit off, but manageable, but stil not touching Sanders' and Vyn's creation.

Making a video of these creations right now would be a great way to show an example of what I mean.
