I buy games to keep them, not play and flip. Still got that old school mentality.
This.

Anyway, I'd say all of Painkiller's sequels.  None of them live up to the original and they try way too hard to be difficult, placing you in extremely cramped areas with limited ammo and tons of enemies.  The maps sucked as well.  Once you reached a new area, you would stay there in battle for at least 10 minutes before you killed all the enemies and were allowed to move on to a new area where you would do the same thing again and again until the stage ended.

The first game wasn't like this at all.  You always received reasonable amounts of ammo, the maps were pretty damn cool, the soundtrack fit the game perfectly, and there were always just enough enemies placed/spawning in one large area to keep you battling lots of enemies without things becoming tedious.  When I saw the poor reviews the sequels got, I didn't think much of it, but my god, this is one of the rare times I can agree with reviewers.  Oh, and it's worth noting that the original Painkiller was released in 2004, and sequels are still being released, even in 2012, and guess what?  They still use the same physics engine and models from 2004, so naturally the games look very dated too.  People can Fly really needs to take over the Painkiller series again so they can make a proper sequel.

Well, now that I'm done ranting about those, I can say that I like some of the reskinned weapons.

Next game I regret buying would be SVC Chaos on Xbox.  Back then, I didn't like the game at all, so I didn't play it much.  I don't think it's a bad game anymore, and I've come to enjoy it a bit.  Just a total waste of money on my part at the time, nothing more.

My friend beat that game... he told me to NEVER play it.

He said it was like InFamous, but crap.

I think you need to rent and play it for yourself^^

but then again....i knew a person who played bioshock when it first came out and said it was trash and boring...

I think :

-MVC3
-Blazblue Continuum Shift 1 (with all DLC characters ...)

Now the Extend version is out, with all dlc directely include + Relius !!!? ... f**k
(and only in english, no french subtitles, but it's a detail ...)

And also Tales of Vesperia on Xbox360 !!! rrrrrooohhh The PS3 version is much better !!!!! but only in japan, but rrrrrrooooohhhh !!!! (it's still a good game)

Dragonball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi..I thought it was going to be good and it was a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge failure! I wanted to sell that stupid game. I bought it for the character creation and it was a failure. Heck the new Kinect Game has the same graphics and looks like the same Engine they already used.

I thought of another one that was really a waste of money Soul Nomad and The World Eaters. The difficulty at the beginning of the game was super crazy I mean I could not level up all my weak characters at all because:
1) You could not revisit older story areas to grind levels.
2) If you tried to do the create your dungeon thing that was suppose to level up your lower level character most of the time they would die because the enemies where too strong.
3)For a character to level up they had to kill the enemy their self.

I got rid of that game in like a day or 2 because it just sucked so bad.

stupidman 64 was sh%t taking a sh%t lol!!  i think mines was sf4 cuz it caught sf 2 itis with the sequals and the fact that it plays and looks like a completed sfex. but i still play it against people once in awhile and i don't think it's a bad game . just thought it was a tad overhyped.....

but one game i truely regret getting was hybrid heaven on the n64. it was an rpg where you ran around looking like the ultimate warrior , but had the fighting skills of micheal cole!! and you leveled up your body parts in terms of strength and speed. at the end of the game i had a level 99 left leg and d boed the last boss with spin kicks and stompouts lol!! i had to see that sh%^ty game to end lol
