Toonami is currently not being funded due to the fact that AS/CN are taking precautions to prevent another demise, in other words, they need to start from scratch. so it's not surprising that they couldn't get a hold of other anime licenses.

I'm still looking forward to saturday though.

Panty and Stocking is not great anime.

Sad thing about this is alooooot of people that would watch toonami are either out with friends or its past their bed time on a saturday night.

How is One Piece and Panty & stocking better anime? are they trying to kill Toonami already? who's requesting those shows? besides the obsessive fanboys? sure as hell I'm not.

Eh, Panty and Stocking has some action to it, and some humor as well. And come on, Shakespeare understood that there are times when the audience can get a bit sick of things being serious and what not. Although I don't mean to argue really.

Panty and Stocking would fit Toonami for its action, and Adult Swim for the other content in there. I'm not entirely in full support with it being in the block. It truly does signify the merging, rather than the replacing, of ACTN and Toonami. Our generation from the past 10 years ago is now older. We may wish for the classics to come back, but for the block to stay alive, it needs something new for the audience to enjoy while not changing everything, so Bleach and Full Metal will still be on there. With Bleach ending at its 366th episode soon in America, it'll pave way for one more show.

I'd rather be open minded about having shows on the block. Some shows that I'd like to see on there include 009-1, Ergo Proxy, Gunslinger Girl, a Mobile Suit Gundam series, special movie premieres for the Evangelion reboot movies (You Are Not Alone & You Can (Not) Advance, that'll hype some nostalgia for me!), and others, including "Eureka Seven AO: Astral Ocean". I find it fortunate enough that some series that aired on [as] have gotten sequels or is being re-adapted for the new generation.

But please, no One Piece.

Guys like it or not its being requested. So don't be jerks and stop watching because either of them get approved for viewing. Watch everything boost up those ratings and maybe then you'll see the show YOU want on there.

Anyways. So This TOM is officially known as TOM 3.5. wonder what the .5 upgrade was?...

Who knows it was never explained how TOM 3 became that or what happened to TOM 4 to change back to TOM 3.5.

It felt good seeing tom on air again, old tom, not that garbage from before..

For a moment it just felt right and I watched a bit, Casshern Sin was a good addition..

The rest like Bleach and Ghost In The Shell:SAC, and FullMetal Alchemist:Brotherhood I dint watch because I've seem then from beginning to end already.

Hope they add some good action anime in the future..

This is how I look at it:

Well, nothing happened. TOM said farewell in 2008, jumped down, and headed back to space.

Next thing you know, he's back in the Absolution, sitting on his chair, and restoring the broadcast. What can I say? I say it's the fact that TOM could be in fact a living cyber-organic creature. You've seen his face after all. And the old look turns out to be his spacesuit!

You can watch the episodes  here http://onepieceofficial.com/videos.aspx . Although, once you get to episode 206 (Water 7 arc),  all episodes from 206 to 390 will be missing. Once you get to that switch over to http://www.animecrazy.net/one-piece-anime/ and watch it. After you watch those episodes, you can switch back to the first site or stay on the second. Hope this helps. I just got into One Piece too and its very interesting, but there is so much to catch up on. Hope you get back into it also.
