Just something I cooked up whilst waiting til my laptop situation is getting resolved. Hyper port isn't done yet

BTW for those wondering, no she's not an active WIP at the moment. I DO have a theoretical moveset in the works and she would make a nice rival to my Jill WIP. But for now, I'm not sure if I want to make her just yet.

Alright I made an update to my sprite (as I mentioned I took some advice from Dead-X and observed other people's sprites). I also got started on a second sprite (firing her Widow's Bite), and a concept sprite for an intro (similar to one for Harley Batz made)



Also Ark and I have been discussing the possibility of making Nat a WIP after all.

BTW can someone change the title to just "The Black Widow"? I can't seem to do it myself

Sprite update!



Now we're working over the Aoba sprites (with creator's permission), which is the base for the WIP me and Ark will work on eventually. Also nevermind the heads down there, still working on them

It's only a sprite base. Coding will be different (well that really depends on how Ark codes her)

The Aoba base looks good for the upper body but the legs just don't look right to me. Too skinny and not enough curves.

We stopped checking for monsters under our bed when we realized they were inside of us.

I need some help with the moveset. I already have three moves and a hyper planned but I could use some suggestions. Here's what I have so far.

QCF + P = Widow's Bite. Widow shoots bullets from her bracelets; LP=Crouch, MP=Anti-air, HP=Straight
Back, Forward + K = Arrow Kick. Pretty much how it is for MvC3 Jill.
DP + K = Flip Kick-. Anti air kick.

QCB + 2P = Widow's Dance. Counter hyper; If Widow is hit, she evades the punch and acrobatically beats the crap out of her opponent (similar to her fight scenes in Iron Man 2)

Also, me and Ark ARE in fact WIP'ing this so perhaps I'll make a new topic when we have some GIFs made

Information from the museum of Mugen: Mambo used Charlotte's head (Samurai Shodown) for Yelena Belova Black Widow... his bases were Jill for upper and Marrow for lower...

A smart technique that I've seen Xfields do once or twice in his early days is to keep a female base next to your set of sprites or specific parts of such sprites... so you can compare and try to mimic the effect...

Perhaps having some sprites of Prime-Op (Baroness, Catwoman an Black Widow herself) in your sheet could help improving your sprites.
