Long time no see...

I've been working on few things on mugen this weekend, and here is a new stage: Dark Guld's Chamber, from Golden Axe II. I've edited it to make it bigger.


I had some ideas for making two final bosses, both original. I need more time to develop it.

Since some chars have no stage (or the stage doesn't fits for beeing too flat), I started to make some custom stages, as they are easier to do and I can do it on my rare free time

Great to see some BSC progress! Stage foreground and background are fitting well :thumbsup: Minor issue there - shadow, light source is somewhere at viewer's point so shadow needs to be behind chars, not in-front of then :-??

About the next release, it will take a while. ZVitor is resting and I having some real changes at RL, so I can't say when I will release the new version.

I will be busy for the next 10 or more days, but I am (was) fixing things on the project, like:

- Tonned down cheapness of some bosses, like Violator, Giant Spider, Gi Le Farg and others
- Including more attacks to Foot Soldier


- And I have some ideas to make, like this boss


Something that on my mind: I need to change the sparks, to something more oldschool. I am gathering material, any suggestions please drops me a line

As suggested, I've changed all the common sparks to something closer to 16bits era. The transparent sparks are cool, but doesn't fits.

Apoc can change him size when he wants, but usually its size would be like a quarter less than the sprite size

Something I was thinking is to boost the project somehow. And I had two ideas:

1) to add itens, which could give you more power, or more defense, regain health, etc. I just can't think in which sprite to use to WHO will give it. I don't want to use the guys from Samurai Shodown, but the logic is the same

2) to add a Desperate move, which wold consume the whole bar and/or need low life. And probabilly, this could be used just ONE time each battle

what do you think?

For 1 you mean it's like Kabuki Klash's crows with baskets or random appearing boxes like in Jump Superstars? :-?? With no platforms crows are better...
Desperate move? It would be good, with "red life" and full energy bar. :thumbsup:

more like random chars (like Lakitu) flying and throwing itens.

Yeah, the desesperated move would be used just one time per fight, does a big damage and its invencible, like on the old games.
