Yes, I have a MUGEN 1.0 Upgrade!! Yes my life is definetly sweeter now, but wait why does it not have no picture filtering. I know im not gonna filter all my chars, i rather have ACEY do that or a plug-in. Damn, I guess WinMUGEN is better for me after all folks.

Well 1.1 will have the carpy filters back in. So you can have scanlines running across your computer again.

So, what you're saying is, you like the blur? And that's your only defense is the blur? So you (1 person) want everything in WinMugen because of the blur, whereas the majority of the rest of us are enjoying stepping up to 1.0? Well as soon as they decide to incorporate said blur into 1.0, I'll be sure to let you know.

That having been said, we should all drop this back and forth about "Mugen 1.0 >/< WinMugen". We all know where we stand, we're not changing anything, if you want to put the effort to downgrade for your personal preference feel free to do so, but don't go around throwing thumbs down in a 1.0 thread because of the fact that it is 1.0.

Seriously? MUGEN 1.0 is more than that. I mean you say you want a graphic filter and then go on to criticize people who upgrade for graphics. ;*))

MUGEN 1.0 has a TON of advantages, like the AI system, HD graphics and tons of other stuff.

If you really want it you could draw scanlines on your monitor... :-??

MUGEN 1.0 has a TON of advantages, like the AI system, HD graphics and tons of other stuff.

Stuff like the engine not crashing when music tries to loop, controllers working without having to use 3rd party apps like Joy2Key or Xpadder, being able to play more than 20 mins without all of my resources being siphoned into it to the point where it crashes itself, and nearly all of my characters making the transition smoothly save for six and those six only needed their periods replaced with commas in the versiondates to work to name a few others.

gambit is cool, i like gambit, i also like mugen 1.0, upgrading is not as hard as you think, the only reason i was hesitant when it first came out, was the loading time was extremely slow for start up, but that was due to the default screenpack i was using, once i put my old winmugen screenpack in (re-edited to fit mugen 1.0)  the program booted up in seconds then all is sweet, my advice for upgraders ditch the default screenpack and put your own one in then play mugen1.0, you'll never need winmugen again, graphics are clearer, sounds better, and less issues

Some feedback/suggestions:

-Blue CLSNs are overcomplicated on a lot of animations (standing, basic attacks, etc.)  Also, during his taunt, there is a section that is uncovered by a blue CLSN box.
-Cajun Explosion from left side only causes one explosion.
-After Cajun Explosion knocks opponent off the screen, if you hold toward them, Gambit will be stuck in a running state.  You can't do anything until you let go of the button.
-Cajun Strike X looks odd, maybe have Gambit knock the opponent higher before they get locked into position.
-Ace of Spades seems bugged.  Once it connects, only the bottom of the Spade symbol can be seen.  I've also had Gambit get stuck in his pose during the move, unable to do anything until he is hit.  This only happened in Training Mode, and I haven't been able to replicate it since.
-Intro where he jumps into the screen is misaligned.
-Second throw (kick) is misaligned.
-New stance is cool, but a few animations could use an extra transitional frame or two to make it look less jerky (Walk forward/backward, light punch, strong punch).

I may be misunderstanding what you're saying (I probably am) but do you mean that he just keeps running for as long as you hold the forward button? Isn't that supposed to happen while a char is running?

I think he means the character is glitch running, not intentionally.

Normally when you're running, you can jump or attack.  You can't do anything in this instance unless you release the run button.

WOW ... just wow.... i'm really loving this gambit!!! i'm loving the 2 in 1 combos are on point with him and the running (that was desperately needed for the vs series imo) was a very nice touch for him and the other xsc characters. this one is definitely my favorite pick of the xsc litter  ::salute::  big thanks to ACEY AND especially DCL  for making a very cool gumbo!!
