This is good news. It used to be my one of my favorite fighting games when I was younger. I thought I read somewhere that Hudson shut down and they weren't making anymore. Either way I'm glad they are.

I've always played with the Long the Tiger  . From what the put on twitter its going to be a reboot. I can't wait to see how the graphics and mechanics play on the new gen systems.

IMO they are all great. Theres tekken. Theres DOA & theres Bloody Roar (and i didnt mention VF for a reason)

For the flair. Graphics and style just try out Bloody Roar Extreme. Or BR3...

Btw the way folks do no that this bloody roar 5 is technically the 6th installment. I thought i was buggin out when i did see Bloody roar 4 for ps2 after i played BR extreme for XBOX G1 (aka Primal fury). I never got to play BR4 but i did know of it. anyway food for thought there...

Bloody Roar is by far one of my top fave 3D fighting games. I have them all (including BR4....oh, the horror  ) . I put in a lot of time and energy into this game, and intend to do so again once BR5 drops next year  . My fave is BR3 because it features the best development of the beastorize system out of all the games, sidestepping, and better representation of all characters imho. Man, me and my friends played the series to death, just fun knocking each other into the barriers, and going into beast mode for more attack power and stuff.

@DEMONKAI: sorry to burst your bubble, but BR4 is the death of the BR series, true story. Iirc the original team Eighting didn't work on that. Controls where bad, can't crouch or lie down, and many moves were limited to customization similar to Dragon Ball Z Budokai and Tenkaiichi (note, this works great for DBZ). New characters lacked imagination; it's not that they're bad and shouldn't have been added, but they didn't get the right quality touch that the original characters got. On a good note, BR4 looked the best graphics-wise, especially that stage where you fight in a swinging cage. All in all, whoever made BR4 either rushed it out or they wanted to kill the series.

  and that is why i mentioned BR4 last...i never played it . well..not yet ..the last one i played and also had was BR extreme.

I just hope gameplay wise and visually the new one comes out just as cool as the last one i played and just as fun as the BR 1 & 2 which i still have on import Other than that i hope a Praying mantis, Alligator, a bear, Wolverine or a Rhino morph gets put in this time coming. Theres tons of animals and creatures that can be potentionally cool to play as . This will be so intense online im sure! I cant wait to knock folks through walls and gates again

i owned br2 and 4 and honestly 4 wasnt that bad to me the cutscenes sucked and the story was bleh but i liked the gameplay and new characters. reji the crow and kohryu the iron mole were fun to use, the chimera was cool too but the game really could have been better. the customization wasnt all that great. some of their new beast drives were just confusing and unusable like long and giving them other character moves just didnt look right for most people.





i hope ryoho and mana dont make it back, that was the worst character addition ever

yeah sorry folks i was going to post that sh*t here last night but i forgot....after seeing this last night i was annoyed and already sleepy. tried to take short nap but when i woke up it was basically 3 am in the mournin ...had to go back to sleep since i was going on a job interview today for a second better paying gig which indeed i scored and got the job!!!

  At least I learned about the old ones. Useful topic for me. Real disappointment, fighting games are coming back bigger and better than in a long, long time.
