What new fighting games would you want to see from arcsystemworks?

After seeing the person 4 game i see they are good for pulling fighting games out of the hat not too bad in their style.

The hardcore fighting games id like to see done in their version are:

Ninja scroll (based on the movie & anime series characters)

Karas (based on different Karas warriors and villians and yes i know capcom used a character but i still dont if they are
hooked into that karas character)

Jojos Bizzare adventure (the manga still continued with the new generation and capcoms old version from what i believe after seeing the mangas didnt have all the characters)

And some weird new Vampire hunter D fighting game thats bloody as hell with characters from both movies and maybe some new faces we never seen

They were going to do a Sammy versus capcom with the guilty gear chars n such tossed in but there was word the arcsystems crew bumped heads with the capcom developers. I read that years ago at madmans cafe and The magic box...

well...hopefully thats an old deal and maybe they can try it again one day

Huh really?

I've played guitly gear and blaze blue and I don't see what's supereor about their style. While their sprites are nice, I don't like the gameplay (or the character either TBH.) at all.

Yeah i still have the Fist of the north star game on import ps2 that they did so i doubt they would do that again. It was pretty hot for what it was. I was impressed they were ballsy enough to even try to create that game. It made me respect them more.

Well capcom should have let them just do their thing. They claimed they moved on from fighting games at the time anyway. If they were smart they should have let sammy do their version and then capcom did theirs afterwards. I love capcom but they have always had an Ego seriously.

Well to be frank they were sucking bad at a certain point to the fans with fighting games when they released that ONE last horrible fighter "Capcom fighting jam". Even Ono knew it. He sorta went into hiding from working on fighting games because of it. He stated that clearly in the old EGM issue (that was supposed to be the last issue at the time) and he was talking about SF4 and how if it doesnt do well he wont work on anymore fighting games. This is a Fact. Anyway on top of that at the time of the dead air of fighting games Capcom made it clear they werent into hand drawing fighting games anymore. They are too expensive because of the time it takes. SF3 was a huge example of that. In our eyes it was great but for them on a business level they had another agenda. So on that note they were going to make that Sammy X Capcom game a "3D thing" and fans werent cool with that. Arcsystems were pumping out all those Flashy 2D Guilty gear games and that was the new IT factor. It was new and fresh at the time and a lot of folks ate it up at the arcades and on console. So like everything else at the time if it wasnt like that or even CVS2 for that matter it was considered no buneo. So yeh whiplash at the time arcsystems was considered the superior one "for fighting games" in style of graphics and gameplay because of all those things. I used to read all the heat at the Mad mans cafe site too. So It is what it is man

capcom is total mos for walking away from good ol hand drawn 2d !!  now i guess we're stuck with the sf4 engine for another couple of years.........

well anywho, i would love to see an anime mavel vs dc made by arc systems . a thundercats fighting game based on the original art style would be hardbody too!!!

Nawce but you know what?? That Tundercats being done by arc systemworks is a great idea! Its perfect since the new cartoon is poppin . I can see it as a Versus game or a side scrolling multiplayer beat em up like guardian heroes..haha on wild guilty gear level of action though

If it includes giant robots, im all for it!
A big fighter that puts all the big non-gundam mechs in 2d, dukeing it out in stages from those animes, would be awsome.

then as well i would love our CROM project done in a arc system style graphics. a even better collection of action fighting anime stars in roster. there are so many good fighting animes out there these days. a really good arcsystem anime one would be awesome.

a tatsunoko fighter in arc systems um... system would be cool too. maybe they could also bring speed racer who they cut out of tvc . i was tight when i found out he didn't make it!!!  or a move like my boy lando's projec would be great too on that board with a past and present cast of anime characters from astro boy to that guy that fights with his blood on murder wonderland (sorry, his name escapes me )

but i still would like to see them do a marvel vs dc with anime style characters in the vein of the current marvel animes. does anyone know of the back if there were any other anime style dc comics that exist besides that crossover with batman and the guy with the gold nunchucks . sorry it's been awhile since i read that book

With Hyaku Shiki, Gundams (Wing, Deathscythe, Sandrock, Turn A, Shuffle Alliance gundams, SEED ones), Evangelion robots, Guren Laggan robots, Robotech ones, Originals from SRW:OG and SRW:J (Fury), BrainPowered(Baronz, NellyBrain), Mazingers, Tekkaman, SPTs, Zoids, Getter Machines... All those possibilities makes me want that right now! Ahhhh, gimme, gimme, gimme that!!!

It would be nice if Aksys went back and fixed their older games Guilty Gear and Blazblue.

GG had a nice concept; but it was too flashy, too difficult, relied to much on turning every song into HARDCORE HEAVY METAL, and it couldn't even come up with a good plotline.

BB had a nice concept as well. But the fighting engine is unbalanced; some characters are too powerful. And "what'z up wif da batch-iss story-line and final boss (Hazama)?" Also: The people behind BB wanted to shove their "moe-moe," "Japanese culture," visual novel theme down everyone else's throats. They don't seem to understand WHY people (want to) play 2D fighting games. (I wanna punt these people in the face like I wanna punt Rachel across the football field.)

What they should do is remove the lolies from Arcana Heart, replace them with licensed fighters (ala the Queen's Blade spin-off Queen's Gate), and (to prove that the game is not for the oversexed otaku) add a handsome young butler / Muay Thai Kickboxing expy character.

If all else fails; a "Marvel Vs Capcom" -esque fighting game taking characters from Certain Magix Index / Railgun (on one side) and When They Cry... Cicada / Seagulls (on the other). "Certain Vs Cry..."
