Sonic CD port coming to console

I want the Japanese soundtrack in it! There is no excuse not to have it anymore.

I want it, and I want it looping. They can do it, I've got it.

And true enough, Taxman's Engine is being used for the game, which means you can have different type spin-dashes (either the CD spindash or the Sonic 2
style).

I like that SEGA is starting to recognize that the fans know what they're doing.

I like the JP/EU soundtrack, but I really like "Sonic Boom" too. Then again I've heard that there's an option to let you choose which soundtrack you want to play.

As far as gameplay goes, is there ANYTHING different from the original to Taxman's engine outside of changing spindashes?

I would assume the hit detection would be better as well. CD had some wonky detection, especially when it came to the bumpers and springs.

I know that the hit detection on the machines in the past that make a good future are wonky as all get out
