Capcom is half right.

Yeah, the game is their game, they do wathever they want with it.
But is the fans who buy.

No fans = no money

Capcom, this is no Mugen.

But, sorry, enough of this "where is Megaman???".
There is no Megaman on UMVC3. live with that.

yeah but what happens when you upset your loyal customers? They can end up not buying your product. Crapcom may may be half right but you don't tell your fans something like this. Very bad PR move

Okay I see now, so that studies thing was the destructiod guy as well. So from what I see capcom was rather polite and didnt really say anything wrong. From what I can tell the destructiod guy just wanted to be a douche.

Hmmmm after reading that article i see where capcom is coming from but as said...Bad PR move. that will aslo include...why make a poll for it for characters from them for us to poll for? if the top choice was Megaman then why he aint in it? kinda really fails on their part. and how does megaman bring in any unbalancing at all? Uhh firebrand brings balance? strider brings balances? that Raccoon brings balance? i really dont see where any of that calls any balancing into question. Plus add that from them ( if they said it ) not listening to your devoted fan base tho is not such a good thing. your fans keep you paid. Yeah they have a point , i didnt have to buy MVC3 or do i have to buy UMVC3 but as a fan i do expect some fan service for my money. I am glad there are new characters in this game never put in from the last 2 outings but i still see no reason why megaman couldnt be included especially if he is like the mascot of capcom and a good representative to their fans.

You know what pisses me off about games like this nowadays, you always hear people complaining about who or what ISN'T in the game, but you never seem to hear anyone saying how glad they are of what content IS in the game.

I have yet to hear "Awesome, Firebrand is back in the Versus series!" or "Phoenix Wright! FINALLY, EXACTLY WHAT WE ALL ASKED FOR!" or even "Hey, Ghostrider! We were teased with his appearance in MSHvsSF over a decade ago and now we finally have him!"

But no, everyone always focuses on what these games don't have. Yeah, it sucks that Mega Man isn't in..but seriously, some people need to take a moment and realize that not only did we get Marvel Vs Capcom 3, but less then a year later Capcom announces that it plans to release an upgraded version? Yeah, Capcom is so awful because it didn't put this one character thats already been in the past 2 versus series games

. Ugh.

i see what you saying MDI but yeah it isnt really about tho what they are giving me, its how they plan to give it to me. thats the thing for myself i dont like. if its just an upgrade, DLC it like they did AE with no problem. but so far, nope , they might be going disk with it. which makes no sense. more money spent for an upgrade thats barely right there with what i orginally bought for 20 bucks more.

i for one am glad someone i wanted is in ...GHOSTRIDER! YES!!!! i just wish they would brung cap commando and Jin Satome back cause those were my mains always. in this one i cant find any mains i solidily like. Now ghostridfer is in i can find a couple more to suit what i would want in a solid team. plus with 8 more coming i hope one of them or 2 can suit me .

yeah another gripe could be we all waited 10 years to get MVC3 lite and then they give us the real deal after 60 bucks was spent. thats robbery in some universes.

i commend them on yes briningin me MVC3 but i have an issue to how they have of late been doing fan service for those dedicated to their product lines and franchises. Megaman should have been in no doubt. i can eat phoenix wright being in ( plus i will use em if he is solid) but the raccoon?

i mean cmon!

. they could do way better. If phoenixc wright and the raccoon can get in then i for one see no reason why megaman couldnt. that would def be doing some franchise followers and fans some cool service.

From what I've seen he has been totally revamped. Good thing too, if ya ask me.

And as for people's "mains" not being in these games. Is everyone just afraid to mix it up and learn to play as new characters? And before anyone brings up the argument of "But I already learned to play as so and so, why should I learn to play as someone new?"

Well, because...its fun? I mean I occasionally pick characters I'm good with from the start when playing a sequel, but really does anyone actually care about new characters and content anymore or do we just care only about the same s***, different game?

kof 13 is still my main game to have in my home to play when it drops in oct but for a fun spaz out time i dont mind the Umvc3.
40 bucks is way better than 55 or 60 bucks..

i got a few characters from the game myself i could main with ghost rider as well when he gets in. so i dont have much a problem learning new characters at all. i welcome new characters, if anything bring more!

. my wish list was ghost rider, cap commando and Jin , but i will have to swap out those 2 and just pair him up with some cool ones.

i dont mind the 40 bucks but its just the uhhg about it. they coulda did DLC man.

. I got happy happy joy joy with AE so ehhh. 40 is better than 60 more smacks but it just leaves a sour taste in my mouth . $\-/o$ you capcom !

my strategy:
a long range
a short range
and a defensive or someone that can do both.

Hmm ghostrider, strider and hawkeye might be a good pairing up. gonna try em when i cop the game...again.
