Intro Color Loss

Is there any way to prevent color loss when converting from a video to an intro?

Sadly no - But when Mugen 1.1 hits it will be able to take sprites that don't have to be 256 colors - Who knows when that might be seeing how Elecbyte's blog is nothing but crickets since mugen 1.0 dropped @-)

Theoretically you could jigsaw the images for an intro just like a stage, but for a video->intro that'd take forever (unless there was an automatic program, which I doubt)

havent done that in a while but what i remember doing was converting a the frames into prx files with photoshop automatically by making a recording of converting the image and playing it so that it did that to each frame

Go with SyN's method.

I wasn't thinking enough to realize that no PalFX (which messes up the RGB method sometimes) would be used because it is just an intro.
