BANE REVEALED!!!!! *The Dark Knight Rises*

Here's some things I've heard about the film recently.

1) By the pic above you can see Bane in a Tumbler. Apparently he steals two from Wayne Tech or something.
2) Apparently he does take Venom but I'm not sure what it really does, aside from supposedly having to take it every 12 hours just to stay alive.
3) During the League of Shadows destruction of some town off who knows where, Bane, as a child, is the only survivor of it all. Having been foretold in a prophecy this would happen. So, guess he's some kinda chosen one.
4) Catwoman will be revealed soon enough in costume.

I always like his old backstory, but I suppose this makes his link to the LoS easier to make in a ~2 hr movie instead of a long line of comics.

He had better be awesome in this. If anyone sees Bale clutching his back in pain after shooting is finished, we know it was a success.

We really don't know what angles those scenes are being shot at. There are all sorts of camera tricks that can make a person appear much larger than he really is, and I really don't think these techniques would be ignored.

i have to say after seeing the other batman flicks , this one has to bring it with the cast they got too.  with this one I do not like that Bane look at all. BOOOOO! and if that is Cat Woman, IDK, i have to see her standing up without a bike.  . they did pretty good with other flicks so they better not fail on this.  and Kai, i know EXACTLY who you talkin bout that could play bane from the Protector Jai flick. that dude would be the most AWESOME choice for him to play as venom induced Bane without any cg needed. he is HUGE and BUFF as Hellz. That guy would be a perfect choice if they could get him for those scenes.

It just isn't practical. Everyone is saying that oh sure Nolan's Batman is more realistic. Alright well..if that is in fact Catwoman then wouldn't it make more sense and be more realistic to cover your entire head with a mask or helmet to, you know..conceal your identity?

And there is nothing wrong with using a motif such as that of a cat in her case. So what if it is meant to be "realistic"? Some cat ears wouldn't hurt anyone, especially considering Bruce Wayne goes out dressed as a freakin' bat.

But as far as we know it is simply Selina Kyle....sooo who knows.

Exactly what I'm saying all over on facebook, and people are agreeing so hopefully... YES, this should be when she just starts out... then she makes a profit from what she steals or WHATEVER and makes an actual high-tech Catwoman costume. If this is the final costume, I will be severely disappointed seeing so.

Using Bane's Venom in TDKR would be "Jumping the Shark" for me, instantly. Unless they use something other than an altered form of steroids to turn him shredded OVER TIME, then I will lose respect for the Final Film. However, that is where I think Nolan will make the right choice on being realistic by not doing the Venom. In Batman Begins the concept of the Fear Toxin is totally possible to make in real life. Scientists could EASILY make a drug that gives you an intense "bad acid trip"-like stasis while breaking into the greatest fears of your mind. But back to the Venom. I am confident that Nolan does the right thing here, and that is NOT using some freak-based chemical reaction that instantly turns a 5'8" actor into a 6'8"+ Behemoth within seconds as the comics use.


Nolan is going to go for the "Dark Reflection" Angle to show how Bane and Batman are near-equals in battle. Raa's al Ghul helped to created two "failures" to the League of Shadows' cause and the contrast between Batman and Bane will likely be discovered:

One who believed in saving people from injustice by believing in the people's actions and ambitions by leading them out of apathy. Refusing to murder anyone and bring them to Justice if they are against him or the people(Batman)

And the other who believed in "why destroy corruption when you could easily overthrow it and become its master?" Killing anyone who opposes him (Bane)  

Bane will then usurp what ever is left of The League of Shadows and challenge Batman with the help of Talia al Ghul.

They both are human, highly skilled, strong and durable enough to engage in battle. NO VENOM NEEDED

*Food for thought*
IF you think that the concept of Venom could fly in the Nolan's realistic vision of Batman, then why didn't the Joker have chemically induced features like bleached skin, green hair and red lips that were perminate instead of face paint and hair dye? Because there's not a chemical in existence that could possibly do that the way the comics portrayed it! Same thing with the Venom.

I remember getting really mad when I saw the Joker's face for the first time before the Dark Knight came out. It looked like a kid smeared his mother's makeup all over his face. But when the film came out, holy tihs did he look awesome/imposing. So, who knows. I'll wait and see the whole getup work as a whole in motion in the film before I make the same mistake I did with Heath Ledger's Joker.
