exactly!

Not bad. But he just...punches?

Damn, I have many near to be finished chars, but I am having not enough time :(

lol nah he has various kinds of attacks. That person playing was just a boring user who felt to only use punch in that video. i thought you were familiar with that snes game there so i just posted a random general vid. But yeh all of the weapons are upgradeable and get bigger in damage and look. it was a classic snes game of its time...

Lots and lots of supers so f*ckin what

I love Metal Warriors but it would be too odd seeing as the characters are supposed to be gargantuan so the scaling wouldn't make sense. It would be like having Godzilla the same size as Hulk.

Oh yeah? I was planning to make a char from that game, lol Since its a robot, it could be a mini robot

Front Mission has some nice robots.

Speaking of Godzilla...could he be in?

Well..not as a standard character, but I had something in mind.

A combination of how Apocalypse, Abyss 3rd form, and the intro boss from Mega Man X3 are. Basically he'd be scaled up 2.00 so that he'd be quite enormous, but he'd be in the background in a way that you'd only see the upper half of his body. I imagine the stage would be some sort of city skyline, and you're on a roof.

Although I usually hate scaling because it distorts the ratio and makes it look messy, this would retain the correct ratio and it would make more sense. Yes it would look pixelated but really, look at Abyss 3rd form. He is scaled up but still looks good considering that he is a boss.

Just an idea. Same can go for any Godzilla boss.

that spider man dont have any kick or punch.... maybe i try him + some custom resized moves from other spider man sprites, but will not confirm that.

and to be more nostalgic, im tryng add some kind of original game gameplay, if i do that spider, he will not play like his game, i dont like spider like a shooter

I don't know if you would want to do it (since this is a classic style thing) but maybe you could filter the sprites instead, seeing how well it works with the recent release party. Would be interesting to see a full scale Godzilla.

Nah, I'm one of the few people that really don't care for filtered sprites.

I think they work at times. For example Dr. Doom looks fantastic. But at others it looks so-so (for example Cyclops' X logo is all deformed in the filtered version)
I prefer it to pixelation, though.

As a matter of respect, I haven't mentioned neither a creator neither a character. So, lets still be clean here.

Sharing position of SanjiSasuke - some looks good, some awfull, but that's nothing like proper resizing and unfiltered upscale is not that bad, as Fou said - pixel <3 ;)

its not about be good or bad, i tink  Filtered sprites are good ... togather, at side of others filtered sprites.

certainly will not look good and fit with all this mini pixelated guys.
