SoR and most beat em up content in general is too big. As for Terminator, the animation in that game is just so awful and clunky..

Yeah, definitely keep the original palette no matter what.

You can add as many additional palettes as you wish, but personally I don't think those are too great. Perhaps there isn't enough contrast between each shade or something I'm not sure..
still using px colors, didnt got that 16 bits style yet,
will do like wolvie and copy colors from other 16bits games.

... someone want to try pal??

You just need to look the original game.
SNES (and GBA) games have less saturated colors (tons mais pastéis, in portuguese).
GENESIS have more stronger colors.

MDI, I've found something wrong at Dredd:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TuP0LN3sX0&feature=digest#

Look at 0:17, the granade touches the ground but the explosion is bellow the floor, its weird.
If you put the axis on the center of the projectile, you need make the explosion a bit higher.

Great project. Got some questions and sugestions.

- What's is the project official life bar? I've seen three types and just curious what's the  right one.

- How about adding a Predaotor from the SNES game. Here's a sheet.
http://www.spriters-resource.com/snes/alienvspredator/sheet/40130

- This is a fun game. Maybe it fits.
http://www.spriters-resource.com/snes/battlezeque/sheet/2285

- How about some Clock Tower? Got some boss potential.
http://www.spriters-resource.com/snes/clocktower/index.html

- Front Mission Gun Hazzard got some nice bots, maybe can be used in a bonus.
http://www.spriters-resource.com/snes/frontmission/index.html

- Knights of The Round is a good sprite resorce.
http://www.spriters-resource.com/snes/knightsround/index.html

- The Mask would be fun to see in the game.
http://www.spriters-resource.com/snes/themask/sheet/25137

- These chars seen to fit the game style.
http://www.spriters-resource.com/snes/psychodream/index.html

- A Double Dragon is in order.
http://www.spriters-resource.com/snes/superdd/index.html

- Maybe as a JOke Char.
http://www.spriters-resource.com/snes/waynesworld/sheet/15433

Maybe these sugestions have been made already.

Use this as reference when considering character ideas.

Basically what we look for in characters is anyone with realistic proportions and of a height around the same as these characters here. Preferably in the middle. So this means no big-headed or super deformed characters such as Mario, Sonic, or Mega Man.

Also, it is meant to revolve around 2d-side scrollers which means no Beat-Em Up content, usually because the sprite styles clash too much and characters from that genre aren't designed for flat floors so their feet are usually too separated and look awkward in this game.

From what you posted I'd say Psycho Dreams is the only good fit. I have considered content from this game in the past and will probably get around to using some of it eventually.

As for the lifebars, there is no definite version yet. Every set of lifebars you've seen for this project is just different ideas I can come up with to see which I like most and such. In the end I'll probably end up going for something more cybernetic, as that is the theme of the screenpack.

Mas olha só quem apareceu aqui :)

Bagurom, my old friend (I think I know this guy since...2001?). We need to talk, since you have some nice ideas always.

But ad MDI said, people need to see that size char first, or we will keep repeating the same info again and again.

Psycho Dreams has some very weird bosses http://www.bogleech.com/snes-psychodream.html

EDIT:

hummmmmm:

The question is: should it need to be downscaled (80% as Spawn) or its fine on its normal size?

So, the first lifebars were from Actraiser, but the second and third ones are from some games that I have no idea what they are.

That's the problem with being either eager, or obsessed. Still, if there was something out there that hypes me up, I'd want it.

Anyone knows how to rip sprites from mobile games? Like there often sprites in png files in jar file, which are easily extracted, but some times needed ones are(as I think) in pak file inside jar. Any way to extract those(hope they are not encrypted, just packed)?
Wanted Shadowalker... :P

That won't be at my site for a while because a weird bug which happens when you fight him outside his stage.

If you wanna download Octeyes, you can download at the original creator's site, an old friend of mine (one of the oldest mugen creators): http://cyberbit.paodemugen.com.br/cyberbit_main.htm (go to EXTRAS section)

And if you wanna a original char, go to CHARS> CHAR PAGE2 and get this "guy":

yes, its a...crap :)

Its ripped using a tile viewer. You can ask it on their foruns or search on the mobile sheets, because one of them has the program which the ripper used.

Tile viewer are the best way to rip sprites, even from SNES,. MEga, etc.

edit:

Hey, this could be fun

Kid, Battletodas are too deformed. Prince and Chakan should be big, I need to see.

But Chakan I really would like to add.

I wills take a look at those bosses.

About the stage, its already with Exshadow.
But you can use Cybaster stage tool to make a base, since its just  a big image (the rain could be added later)
