It's because heroes don't die, at least not child heroes. Remember Transformers: The Movie?

Besides, there was one Ranger that died, but even then she came back at the end of the show.

Was this suppose to be like the story line of where they had the green candle and if it went out Tommy would die.? Seemed like it, they just completely redid it in the US.. Especially since I think it ended with Tommy giving Jason his gear also but I don't fully remember. This version is a lot better though.

I just don't get it. Aside from all the violence we see and wanting to protect children from such things.. We still got to see stuff like Mufasa getting murdered but we can't see a non-bloody/non-violent death.? Just blows.

While I typically agree with you guys, I also understand why this stuff gets censored here. And, no...we are NOT the most violence-layden country in the world...I would like to think that militias (sp?) and guerrilla warfare in other third-world countries would make them more "violence-layden" than the US, but I guess I get your point. But, yeah...I hate that they automatically target the sentai series toward children in the US because of them being superheroes...that's the FCC for ya, I guess...

I would have to say Lybia is probably allot more violence ridden then we are.
And lots of other countrys.
The US is a pritty nice place, just allot of idots also have the internet.
Were pritty well off and peacefull compared to allot of 3-world countrys and stuff.
Nobody is perfect though.

When America was founded it was stolen from those who were natives of the land. So crime is natural there.
But as Spidermew said were not as bad as Third world countries were economic stability doesn't support the cost of living.
I was Born in Dominican Republic as a kid i have experienced things i wish i could forget, America is a pretty good place we should appreciate were we live and instead of criticizing we should do small things so maybe that way we can influence other people and help them see that maybe someday we can truly live in peace by helping each other out.

i have o say , i remember one cartoon show where...no one got shot but there was so much laser gunfire going on i swore someone had to get hit at some point. the cartoon in question...G.I Joe! like if a tank fire a round ( several cause they were laser tanks) and it landed near the enemy or good guys the boom would just blow them around but the get up firing back! after waching movies like Transformers the movie , i went to the movies and the opening fight scene with megatron blasting and killed Braun and i think wheeljack and crew, my face was like WTF!

WHAT! Robots do get merced? stuff like that opened my eyes to all i was missing and what was missing, uhh you fire guns and missles and boom and people do get hit and killed. Human or robot.

america is violent as heck, but its way more on a softer scale than spots around the world where you pretty much blink wrong on a sunday and you killed. here we do have laws to protect not just the innocent but uhhg even the guilty hat are indeed GUILTY! Is now coming o where realism and cartoons are merging in ideologies in certain shows, but here we do tame

of them except some radical shows like family guy, robot chicken and such but then they have ratings as not really listed for kids i figure but heck, i dont know a kid that hasnt seen either show! So there are parents out there who do allow they kids to see these shows and the crazy insane stuff of deaths , murder and such bu its best to have your parent there as well to cultivate the child in knowing whats what and not to emulate all they see, is just a cartoon. if you do throw a piano out the window , it will badly injure or kill whoever is under it.

Thats the first actual time i seen you say somethin heavy. usually youre kinda quiet and dont say many words. Not in a bad sense. But youre usually blunt or just crack a joke haha. Hmm good point indeed though

I still say my US is funny style on what they censore and what they let rock thats wild violent but hey thats show bizness

But i do love my country cuz we dont have militias runnin through blowing everybody up on a daily basis or living like hostages.

As a government we may be less violent than the militias, but the amount of people who constantly think guns solve everything is outstanding. Too many times do I hear people naming off every spec of their guns in response to something as minor as a "Your Mom" joke.

While our military might not be the most violent, our citizens are dreadful even to each other.
