Megaman favorites weapons?

Hello there.

Post here what are your favorite Megaman (Classic series) weapons and, if its possible, why you like they.

Like this:

Snakeman (mm3): Search Snake is cool because the snake travels on the ground, on the wall, etc.

Metal Blade  from MM2

Fires in loads of directions, 3 uses per notch, kills most bosses easy, best weapon ever.

MM1 - Fire storm
MM2 - Metal blade
MM3 - Top spin, Shadow Blade and Hard knuckle
MM4 - Dust Crusher, Flash stopper
MM5 - Gyro Attack, Gravity hold and Napalm bomb
MM6 - Not sure but I like the jet and power adapters
MM9 - Not sure, a lot of choice
MM10 - Triple blade

Most of the reasons are kinda self explanatory if you've used the weapons. Not too sure which one is my favorite of the series

Also, THUNDER WOOL DOES NOT SUCK. Just about all weapons in the series are really good if you know what to do with them.

I like that Drill weapon which divided itself into 2 or 4, I can't remember the name

BTW, Megaman has some repeated weapons, no?

You talkin about the Spread Drill, it was used in Rockman and Forte for SNES and GBA

My favorite is...I guess the Storm Tornado and Fire Wave from Rockman X (those count right?)

What exactly is so bad about it? Just about all the people that hate it don't actually use it correctly, they just use it wrong on their 1st go and forget about it completely. Really, it is actually very good, WAY better than spark shock (which i believe is the only real bad weapon)

I personally liked Drill Man's Drill Bomb.  It used up a lot of ammo, but it was strong and you could detonate it at will!  I also liked the Shadow Blade, because it was good with ammo and it was rapid fire, and you could shoot diagonally or upward.  Dive Missile was good in that it was a homing attack, but it consumed too much ammo for it's damage output.  And of course, the Mega Buster, because it was free, rapid fire, and in 4 and after, you could charge it and deal serious damage.

And these videos make me want to dig out my NES and buy Megaman games for it, namely 1, 5, and 6 (I got 2-4 in a consignment store, for $5 each).  Screw 9 and 10, those games are as poser as you can get.

Looks like Megaman's in there to compete with Kirby's power copying ability, huh?  Might as well throw in Rogue from X-Men and the Spy from TF2 just to be sure.  

Though on a serious note, if they were to copy each other, Megaman would gain the power to float and vacuum enemies, and Kirby would gain rapid fire, charging shot, and a sliding kick.

For that character with shademan's weapon, does the sound get more powerful if you shoot it again after you hit yourself with it on the bounce back? Like in the game.

You guys named some of my favorite Megaman weapons already.
Besides those, I like "Mirror Buster" from Enker (Megaman I GameBoy).  It's cool to bounce back projectiles.
