He was really a great bass player too! As long as we have Jerry Cantrell though Alice in Chains will survive.

I think "some" people forget Mike was kicked out of the band in 1993 for drug addiction. He had been referring to himself as a member, but had not been in the band for 18 years.

I really liked Mike, I just find it kinda annoying how the media is acting like this is a major thing for Alice in Chains when they lost Mike a looooong time ago.

I really pulled for him on Celebrity rehab, but when he got busted last month with prescription meds I thought "uh oh" but at least it wasnt Lady Heroin.
