Blizzard of Hell in Chicago last night

Ohhhhhhhhhhh brother, what a time here in Chicago. I would never thought I would see the day that the blizzard would return here after 32 years . I never wanted to see another blizzard because it's been hard on my family before when we lived in the High rise projects on the South side 32 years ago. Now that we live up North, we had to stock up on medicine and food before it came and it did in full blast. I thought I wouldn't be online today because the wind was so bad last night, I figured the power would be out for a while. I didn't like blizzards then and I hate them even worse now and especially with more snow on the way this weekend, who knows what will happen? The Groundhog didn't see his shadow today, so let's hope that Spring will come, or it'll be the last Groundhog Day that groundhog will be seeing, jk . Well, that's all for now. I'd love to hear your responses to this.

Yea Ima over here near Chicago too.. omg.. snow was so enormous it went up to the top of my mom's minivan wheels.. that's how bad it was.. BEFORE we started snowplowing and shoveling.

yeah i feel you on that. snow is up to my knees and im 6"2". At least it stop this morning Yuri. We didnt get that 20 to 26 inches they said we'd get. I gotta make sure to watch the news tonite.

Me, my bros and the neighbors shoveled our whole street and all our drive ways. I never want to have to do that again.

did the shovelin twice out here in NY. News metioned more is comin and i hope its in accurate. what made it worse was that lil rain and sleet makin it a bit heavier on top of the 12 inches of snow that wasnt fully gone from before smh ...yeh good workout but naw man im tired of seein yellow snow and shovels in my sleep already

yeah i feel you on that. snow is up to my knees and im 6"2". At least it stop this morning Yuri. We didnt get that 20 to 26 inches they said we'd get. I gotta make sure to watch the news tonite.

I live in Nova scotia Canada. We've got about 60 cetemetres (2 feet) a few days back.

And now we're getting rain. So now there's about 1 foot of slush everywhere, Typical Nova Scotia Weather.

dudes here in pa where i live, man it looked like Antartica for 2 weeks! if you went outside at night, your done! during the day the ice would melt real slow and when night came all that water turned into sheets of glisting layer of ice. its been so many car accidents and hospitals are packed with slips and falls, broken arms and legs, fingers jammed and its just maddness! now its all melting and gettin a bit clear, but not much of the bulk snow that turned into a wall of ice .
the trucks refuse to salt of the streets so its like slush heaven and its just real sad. The Tow Truck  people are realllllllly happy.

nah brotha thats what i was shovelin in from of my crib after that sleet ice rain packed on a bit heavy. it was higher than that on the streets and in the park though. so high at one point you can swim in it it looks like. Midgets were epic fail ill say that. But the first wave was the worst . it was way higher than twelve. sanitation deaded NY in most areas on the clean up. Thats why it was a criminal investigation on them at the time. Lets put it like this, if u thought u were drivin home in Brooklyn, queens etc it wasnt happenin. you were straight leavin yo sh*t right there at the light. Buses and everything it was bananaz out here.

It was a lil rough this 2nd time but not that bad just too quick of a 2nd semi round. just ice and sleet packed on a bit and thin cold air.

agreed. i got stuck in the city over night cause the brown line was delayed and i missed the last metra. i was late to work this morning.

I didn't even lift a single finger xD and i thought it was melting already I mean chinese new year passed (supposed to be mark of spring or something) and the time before i went to wendy's it was actually warm and lot of fog.
