Version 1.0

18 Jan 2011

Bug Fixes

    * CNS: Fixed associativity of := for fvars.
    * Fixed a bug that caused some sounds to be played on incorrect channels or with incorrect stereo panning.
    * Storyboard: Replaced broken soundX.volume parameters with soundX.volumescale.
    * Fixed incorrect character positioning in win and results screens.

Doc Changes

    * Some documentation was updated.

License Changes

    * The license has been updated to permit inclusion of the MUGEN executable into free non-commercial bundles. See readme.txt.

Liscence change sounds good, especially "Free non-commercial" Very open-source-like.

But is all of the old stuff still incompatible with 1.0?  I don't want to switch and not be able to use the majority of my chars.

*prays Virtualltek notices that it's a full release and makes FF3 1.0 compatible* I know he made a little tool for 1.0... but... we need Fighter Factory 3 to be 1.0 compatible now that 1.0 is complete. I just didnt use it before b/c it wasnt complete and didnt want my characters flying across the screen randomly. lolz!

I'm using Fighter Factory Classic and it's fully compatable, and it seems thatall 30 of my chars are already Mugen 1.0 complient. Now to remake the IMT screen packs (blue and red)

Does it have support for Wimugen High Res screenpacks yet?  I'd really love to use AlphaStorm in 1.0

It only has support for old scool low-res, the problem with high res screen packs is that the title screen and vs screen are low-res while the select screen and fighting screens are highres and the new mugen can't separate the different instances of high and low res.

Screenpacks can be adjusted fairly easily, and I think chars are pretty much 100% compatible already.

Absolutely correct. It looks like the only real 2 char updates (which are optional) are:
1) to correct the different in 1/60th of a second in hitpause and
2) add ignorehitpause to almost all "assertspecials"

There is another thing with chars who their creater decided to not only use x and y for their chars possition and/or velocity but they also decided to utilize "z". I for one never used this in my chars and I don't know many who have

How do i add another screenpack and more slots in the original?

It comes with two screen packs, the normal "mugen1" data and a larger "big" data that holds up to 60 chars.

If you want more than that then you're in luck because IMT is currently redevelping the International Mugen Tournament Screen Packs for Mugen 1.0 functionality.

I used to be iffy about using 1.0 but after using it for over a month now, I can clearly say 1.0 is way better than winmugen and has way less bugs and glitches. Also, I was using RC8 not the more stable version so that should say a lot. I've been trying to covert the homies to 1.0 some have, while others refuse. I'm done trying to put them up on game. Seriously 1.0 is the way to go.

Now Die, Mortal.

Yeah i was 1 of the ones who was skeptical about switching( False info on Character Compatability ) but its WAY better than winmugen.........hell even on winmugen plus i had to quite using sound for my stages cause they crashed......not anymore 1.0 Is VERY MUCH worth the Upgrade
