Basic System Workings

Double Jump: (Air) U
-Self explanatory
Run: F,F
-Self explanatory
Back Dash: B,B
-A short hop backwards, good for a quick retreat.
Grab: LK+LP
Turn Grab: SP+SK
-Unblockable attacks performed next to the
opponent, mostly as punishment for turtle-ing.
*Yoshi's grabs work slightly different than usual,
if his opponent isn't close enough to grab he will
send his tongue out to try and grab them. His grab
is blockable once he sends out his tongue, but it will
also be able to hit an enemy in the air.
Dive Roll
-While running, press down or down forward to do a quick
roll. The roll goes through most high attacks and projectiles,
but can be risky, because you don't have any control
while rolling. You will end up in a crouching position
after the roll ends.
Recovery Roll
-While downed, hold either Forward or Back to roll
in that direction when you get up.
Basic Chaining
-You can link basic+command moves together, from light->Strong.
-Normals + Commands -> Specials, Supers, or the Ultimate Attack.
Ex. LP->SP or SK, A.LP->A.SP or SK, C.LK->C.SK or C.SP

-Yoshi snaps his tail at the opponents legs.
*Hits low.
*Can hit downed opponents.
*Cannot be chained into.

-An overhead tail strike that sends the enemy to the
floor.

Fire Breath : (Charge)B,F, K
-Spits a small cluster of fire balls at the
opponent.
Yoshi Bomb : (Charge)D,U, K
-Yoshi leaps in the air and strikes the opponent
below. You get an extra attack if you are standing
next to the enemy at the start of the jump.
*Can hit downed opponents.
*Cannot be blocked low.
Egg Roll : F,F, K
-Yoshi encases himself in an egg, and charges
at the opponent.
Egg Throw : D,DF,F, P
-Tosses an egg at the opponent. The egg can
ricochet off the "wall".
Yoshi Headbutt : D,DB,B, P
-A strong headbutt attack. That's it

ParaYoshi Charge : F,F
-Yoshi does a quick air dash forward. Deals slight damage,
good for setting up an overhead attack.
Ground Pound : D,D, SK
-Basically Yoshi Bomb, only without the leap.
It deals less damage, and has slightly lower priority
than it's counter part.

EX Special Attacks [1/2 an SE Stock]

Fire Burst : (Charge)B,F, LK+SK
-Spits multiple clusters of fire balls at the
opponent.
Super Yoshi Bomb : (Charge)D,U, LK+SK
-A much quicker version of the Yoshi Bomb, deals
a little less damage, but has slightly less recover
time, and creates a shockwave on impact.
Smash Headbutt : D,DB,B, LP+SP
-A very strong headbutt attack. Sends the opponent
flying into the "wall" on impact. Works
like a counter if hit before attacking.
Egg Collider : F,F, LK+SK
-Yoshi encases himself in an egg, and charges
at the opponent, dealing multiple hits before
sending the enemy flying.

Super Ground Pound : D,D, LK+SK
-Basically Super Yoshi Bomb, only without the leap.
It deals less damage, and has slightly lower priority
than it's counter part.

Super Fire Breath : D,DB,B,D,DB,B, K
- Yoshi sends out a stream of fire at his
opponent.
*The flames can be controlled slightly by holding
a direction.
Egg Launcher : F,B,DB,D,DF,F, P
- Yoshi encases his enemy inside an egg, and
throws them harshly against the "wall".
*While spinning hold a direction to move slowly.
*In simul mode the enemy in the egg can hit
it's partner. Also you can hurt the partner while
spinning.

Yoshi Stampede : D,DB,B,DB,D,DF,F, LP+LK
- Yoshi charges at his opponent, if his attack
is successful he calls the rest of the herd to
trample his target.

-LP and LK -> each other, also normals, and
command moves that use a higher strength.
Low Tail Strike is an exception.
-Slide -> Yoshi Bomb(LK Version)

-Yoshi Headbutt -> Supers, or Ultimate Attack

Metal Yoshi
--------------------------------------------------
Metal Yoshi is a mid-boss version based on the
Metal characters from Super Smash Bros.
-Super Armor
-His AI is slightly different.
-No damage dampening
-Standing Strong Punch is slower, but it is a lot
stronger and sends the foe flying.
-Tail Slash slams the opponent to the ground even
if standing.
-Both Strong and EX headbutts are unblockable, and
send the enemy to the "wall."
-He has a higher level of gravity. Making him hard
to throw, but at the same time he is pretty much
ground bound.
-A much slower walking speed.
-Super Yoshi Bomb/Super Ground Pound creates multiple
shockwaves.
-He can't use Yoshi Stampede.
-He has some other weaknesses too, but where's the
fun in telling you?
