he is unlocked at street level, before fist tower level.

   I love this project, I am facilitated an amazed. Is there a limit to this? Can or do you plan to continue to add to it over time?
   I had some thoughts, you may have already thought of them but I hope it's alright to share. You could update this game in like DLC packs like complete FF4 characters, stage with Galactus as the end boss, or certain New Warriors (not nessiarilly the ones from the incident) in a Stamford stage with Nitro as end boss. Or just more characters only, certain ones that can be grouped together. The pack I would like to see is Slapstick, Sleepwalker, Man-Thing, and Howard the Duck (obscure group). I suppose stages could get crazier and be like Marvel Zombies even if you made some lower profile zombie superheroes to repeatedly pop up as attackers they're zombies it's justifiable!

downloaded and played it for awhile with each character...this is some really good work zvitor!!!!  Man the finished product will be an awesome Openbor marvel project indeed. keep up the great work man, your on fire with this project. :thumbsup:

ZVitor , you have something great going on here. I love Beat ‘Em Ups. They are one of my favorite type of games. I can say I have played a ton of them and because of my passion for them; I am inclined to provide some aggressive feedback. Please understand that all of this feedback is because I really want this great game to be a lot better. You know I love all of your creations, so I hope you don’t get offended by it. I have only the best of intentions.  :thumbsup:


Feedback:

1. All of the character’s jumps are too high. It seems like they are doing super jumps instead of normal jumps.

2. Captain America’s, Iron Man’s and Spiderman’s jumping attacks are hard to connect. They should be more like Wolverine’s and Hulk’s. Those come down on the opponents and are easier to connect. A great example of a good jumping attack is the one used in Punisher the Arcade Game.

3. Every great Beat ‘Em Up should have either an audio or dialog balloon conversation between the hero and the villain before the fight. You can see this in classic games like Captain America and The Avengers, Punisher and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time, just to name a few.

4. When grabbing someone you should be able to do more hits to the opponent than just one and then still be able to throw them. If you don’t want to make it too complicated, a simple way to do it is the way it’s done in the Punisher Arcade game for example. It’s only two buttons and a lot of fun.

5. A special attack like the one suggested by Tazzer is a must. It should be done by pressing the attack and jump buttons at the same time. Every classic Beat ‘Em Up like the ones mentioned has one, including some of the first ones like Double Dragon and Final Fight.

6. I love the dash attack move, especially Cap’s and Spiderman’s, but it would be great if the characters would be able to run when pressing forward twice without pressing a button. This too is kind of a standard in Beat ‘Em Ups.

7. It would be cool if you added words that show up on screen every time you hit an enemy like the ones in the Captain America and the Avengers game.

8. This is just a suggestion, but in my opinion, it would be better if Iron Man’s special beam would extend from his hands all the way to the other side of the screen like Ms. Marvel’s laser in your preview video, instead of a shot that leaves his hands and travels through the screen.


I love all the characters except Wolverine. I’m sorry, but I don’t like the way he looks. His spriting is not up to par with the other characters. Plus, in my opinion, his special move should be Berserker Barrage. All the other characters are excellent.   :-??

All in all, this is looking like it’s going to be an incredible game and has the potential to be AMAZING. I used classic games as examples, because I think this game has the potential to be as good, if not better than all of them. You should go back and play some of the best Beat ‘Em Ups out there like the ones mentioned for more inspiration, including the Streets of Rage series, Aliens vs Predator, Battle Circuit, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, Maximum Carnage, Captain Commando, Battletoads, P.O.W. Prisoners of War, Combatribes, Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon and others…  :)

PS. I will try to post more feedback and suggestions.

One more thing, I think it would be great if there were civilian sprites in the background in fear or if you coud see them run away at the beginning of the scene like at the beginning of the Captain America and the Avengers game...   ;D

I haven't played it yet, but if I have some feedback to give, I'll post it in LavaLit. And speaking of civilian sprites, Zvitor can use Mr. Q's civilian sprites there. I know those sprites are from Batman Returns (SNES) and Power Rangers the Movie (SNES version).

- sounds still missing (cyclops beam is a mess)
- still missing hitsparks/flashs
- new move added D, D + A, it use mp bar.
- wolverine play differents because i want him simillar to genesis x-men 1.
